I switched to an ergonomic mouse and keyboard and my pain instantly went away. Now whenever I have to go “back to normal” it hurts again so it’s definitely worked for me.

Sure! I used to get massive hand cramps from using a trackpad all day, so I finally experimented with different ergonomic mice and settled on this trackball as the most ergonomic and reliable. It has a little button to slow the motion down for "precision mode."

You'll probably also find that you do better with a solid mechanical keyboard than a regular keyboard or a laptop keyboard all the time. The keys tend to stick up higher and give better feedback so that you're not overdoing it. The kind with a tactile bump in the action are even better, because in concert with the nice crisp actuation, the bump stops you from having to push the key all the way down.
Standard laptop keyboards and non-mechanical keyboards use different springs and feel so "squishy" by comparison. A mechanical keyboard will save you soooooo much finger and wrist stress.
I do! This is the mouse Logitech MX Ergo Wireless Trackball Mouse ? Adjustable Ergonomic Design, Control and Move Text/Images/Files Between 2 Windows and Apple Mac Computers (Bluetooth or USB), Rechargeable, Graphite, black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0753P1GTS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_Z3M6N08P1QP3P2CQHF23?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 which adjusts on its own to two angles 0 and 20°. I printed another piece I found on thingiverse that adds 10 more degrees. I also got a red track ball because when I think of a trackball, my mine goes to a red ball....plus it went with my basic black and red.
Get a trackball mouse, full control without having to move your arm, and can be used on any surface. Won't deny it takes a little getting used to, but it's one of the best purchases I ever made.
Get the good one. It will last a long time. Also for couch computing I love the mice with the ball you use with your thumb. Total game changer!.

Just bought the Ergo MX for $65 + tax from BestBuy.com after pricematch to Amazon.
A little miffed about pointer acceleration being missing from the new "Logitech Options" driver (no more SetPoint like the M570). But found a workaround: turn on "Enhance pointer precision" in the old school mouse control panel.
Another nice thing about Best Buy's model (not Amazon's) is that it's the Ergo Plus which comes with a metal base to increase the angle, possibly making it more comfortable depending on your preferences. Most of BB's CSRs don't seem to notice when approving the pricematch ;)
I don't think I would have paid the $100 MSRP on this thing after buying so many M570's for $20-$25, but for ~$70, the extra comfort and heft (and side scrolling!) is worth it to me.
Yep. $80. Lasts multiple months between charges, and I can still use it while it's charging.
This one (It's now $90, but it was $80 when I bought it)

There's zero wrist movement with this mouse, but it does take some getting used to. Once you get used to it, a regular mouse will feel like a peasant's tool.
>Using a trackball mouse to own The Witches.
It's a mouse that you don't physically have to move. Instead you roll the ball. Ergonomic Mouse
Edit: link
If you feel so inclined, I would suggest having a look at either the Logitech MX Ergo trackball for a cleaner and more wrist-friendly setup. Or this Elecom one if you might be more into a fingertip ball.

As someone who had the same issues as you, I've been happy with my MX Ergo. It would be nice if it had a more premium feel, trackball-wise, but the rest of it is top notch.
não em engenhara voce usa softwares como SolidWors e autoCAD, a menos que trabalhe com esboços de arquitetura, mais nada substitui o bom e velho lápis e papel.
invista em um bom mouse que voce ganha mais tipo esse aqui.

Mine did for a long time until I switched to a trackball mouse.
I've basically been over Logitech since they dropped this planned obsolescence ridden thing.
Avoid the needless price hike & non-removable battery.
Get yourself the M570.
