Those are decent lights, well made and pretty sturdy. My only beef with these streamlight pens is they're cold white low-cri. If you wanted a more natural, accurate light with high color rendering (from one tech to another- recommended), a light in that same format is the Lumintop IYP365 with the Nichia emitter option. There's also a titanium version if you feel fancy.
IYP365 is another option:

Cheaper and fullfilled by Amazon (aka already in US warehouse)
I think you'd hardly notice the difference in size going to a AAA light. The Stylus Pro might not be a good choice for medical use, but there are several competitors that have a moonlight setting. I would think something with a more neutral tint and high CRI would be nice to have for your use.
I don't have one, but this Lumintop on Amazon has tempted me a few times. I have a weakness for pen lights.
Edit: I see if I had bothered to read down just another line, someone had already suggested it.
Get you one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C9XP692/
That is the best pen light I've ever owned. It can be dim enough to light up a patient's eyes and bright enough to illuminate a bathroom with a broken light. I use it all the time in and out of work.
Only $21 on amazon right now.

Check out the Arbitrary List of Popular Lights. It's full of lights that have already been vetted by the community as excellent. You're sure to find something there that'll work great for you.
Off the top of my head, a good penlight would be the Lumintop IYP365 and a good magnetic task light would be a SKilhunt H04.
I think the Lumintop IYP365 looks to be pretty great. It's got great build quality, decent modes, and a nice LED, all for under $20. This would be my pick.
For bulletproof durability on a budget the Streamlight Stylus Pro is a staple. Nothing fancy here though. Basic LED, just one mode.
The Streamlight Stylus Pro 2020 is a solid upgrade from the Stylus Pro that includes USB-recharging, two modes, and a lot more output.
Best at what? I think the Lumintop IYP365 looks pretty great, but I have no personal experience with one.
It's not great. The LED is one of the worst ones on the market right now when it comes to the light it produces. A Lumintop IYP365 would be my recommendation.

Sounds like maybe you're looking for a pen light. Here's a couple.
> are there other affordable 2xaa High CRI options (under $30-40USD)
> where is a reputable place to buy the IYP25
I've been using a Lumintop IYP365 for a few years now as an HVAC tech and it's held up very well
I love pen lights, and I love low light photography, but I really think you'd be better served to move up to an 18650 powered multi-emitter light, such as the Lumintop FW3A or Emisar D4V2, just to name a couple of the more popular options.
For what you're going to sacrifice in size (they are still very much pocketable), you'll gain more emitter options, much greater runtime, more versatility in the UI, and for me, a far more useful beam pattern without the need to carry a diffuser.
Otherwise, and I've no personal experience with either of these, but a couple of high CRI penlights with decent output are the Lumintop IYP365 and the Acebeam PT10 GT with Nichia 219c. Also, the Nitecore MT06MD.
I would call anything with an 18650 cell a pen light.
The Lumintop IYP365 is a really solid 2xAAA penlight. It's $20 and uses a high CRI Nichia emitter. The IYP25 is the same thing but slightly larger, substantially brighter, has substantially longer runtime, and runs of 2xAA's. That would probably be my choice for the runtime and the output but both are great penlights.

Lumintop seems to be a nice brand, they have a high CRI nichia LED option, or Cree, and they also have a single aaa size or 2xaaa
If you aren't looking for long, or medical / high CRI, personally I love the Tool 2.0 that takes AA or 14500 lithium.
Oh man, now I've gotten into it, now I want the titanium aaa mini, and the pico!
Someone stop me before I shop again!

Do you not like the t10? High cri seems helpful in your profession. The lumintop iyp365 seems like a good fit. Do you have a battery preference?
