You can get a hot-cold bidet off of amazon for $55. I got one of these a month ago and its been amazing.
Ah, got it.
This is a heated attachment which has hookups for hot water. There are many different brands which works this way, including Tushy.
Once you get into the electric bidets, you're looking at more complex systems which either flash heat the water, or store it in a tank. More complex systems require more space, so it's harder to find an elongated electric bidet seat.
One of the other problems with electric bidets is whether or not you can get an outlet close enough. NEC 2020 introduced some restrictions which make it significantly more difficult to place an outlet in most bathrooms near a toilet. The NEC version your state has adopted determines that. Obviously if you're not in the US, you'd have to check other regulations.
I'm in North America and got one online that you plumb in hot and cold lines to as well. This is the product I got.
LUXE Bidet Neo 320 white 320-Self Cleaning Dual Nozzle-Hot and Cold Water Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Attachment, 17 x 10 x 3 inches [link]
We got one with cold and hot connections and frankly the warm water is worth it at this time of year. The thing is uncannily accurate and a blast of cold water is kinda shocking in the winter.
This is the one we got. Super simple to connect to the hot water supply, but it did mean drilling a small hole in the side of the vanity cabinet to run the tubing through.
The ones with a handle are easier to use than the ones with a knob. As someone said, game changer — Luxe Bidet Self Cleaning Dual Nozzle - Hot and Cold Water Non-Electric Mechanical (white and white) [link]
This is the one that we got. I don't know what the experience is like, but my wife seems to believe it's better than sex. Which either says a lot about me or the bidet...
It is the best for vaginas— especially if you get a period. My bidet has one for butt and rotate the knob for the stream to switch to vagina. I mean seriously, if you get a period— this is a game changer. Imagine having no smears of blood after going to the bathroom, or changing your cup or tampon/pad. None! You will love it. I am so glad we have one, we bought ours on amazon— looks very similar to this one in the video. Just a quick add on to your current toilet. It was $54.
Edit: here’s the link to the one we bought.

Damn those have really shot up in price since COVID. I have this one with all the same features and paid like $40 for an amazon warehouse dented box deal.
Indeed, bolt-on bidets are a godsend for those of us blessed with furry behinds but it’s still nice to do a flyby inspection for any stragglers.
Edit: I highly recommend this bad boy in case anyone is wondering
This is the one. It took about an hour to set up and ensure there were no leaks. If your toilet is not close to the sink, then it can be tricky or just ignore the hot water option.
I’m not them, but I cannot recommend this one enough: [link]
I got mine from Amazon. [link]
Say goodbye to anal pain and bleeding! Buy a bidet attachment!
Seriously, they're amazing. I got this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JG3NVG2.
I used to live with pain and bleeding, since buying it, it only happens when I'm going to the bathroom without a bidet for more than a day or so, like when I'm travelling.

I installed a seat replacement bidet in my old apartment and didn't have any issue removing it and replacing it with the original when I left. My first installation took about as much effort as assembling Ikea furniture (which is simpler than assembling anything non-trivial by anyone else).
I recommend warm water bidets, but there are two routes that you can take: electric heaters or getting warm water from the sink. Electric heaters are more expensive but also easier to install if you have an open outlet. My recommendation depends on your budget. I'd say go with the best of these that you can afford. Then, if you want to do more research, take the option I recommended and see what other options are at that price point, look at comparison videos on Youtube and articles (Many Bidets has several and there are blog posts about many, too), and figure out which features you think matter the most to you.
There are options beyond that range but I can't recommend them as I haven't tried them myself. If your budget supports buying an $800 bidet seat, check out the Cascade 3000 and let us know what you think of it.
I bought one of these right when the pandæmonium started and the TP was in short supply.
Can't get more basic other than not having warm water.
I got this one, and it is great. You can connect hot and cold water lines, but I chose to just use the cold water. It is well made and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

How does the non electrical bidet heat water?
I'm looking at this one and I'm not sure if it needs a hot water source or if it's magic.
