It seems the only thing missing for the ultimate setup is a good grinder.
I've been using the PA and the Finishing Grinder (+stem) for a while now and you can't beat the consistency. The FG grinds the bud to a perfect, fluffy trench (with built-in portion control!).
That being said, the extra ~$20 is definitely worth the investment.
I use a magic flight finishing grinder (this) before it goes in my box. I haven't tried mixing it with anything yet though I've heard something like coconut oil might make it work better.
I get the isopropyl but can you enlighten me as to what the coin does? I usually use a mflb grinder ( http://www.amazon.com/Magic-Flight-Finishing-Grinder-Walnut/dp/B00GNKFOTI) since it fits perfectly in the bowl but sometimes I use my other grinder and never have much luck with saving kief.
I've found that putting a quarter or something similar in your grinder and then moving it from side to side helps to grind down the herbs and push more kief through the screen. You can also get a "finishing grinder" like this one.
Also, make sure that you'll filling the oven up to the top or using a pipe screen to push the herbs down against the bottom of the oven to get the most out of it.
The finishing grinder is like $20 bucks on amazon.
Basically it's a grinder that gets an incredibly fine grind as a result. Here's an example: https://www.amazon.com/Magic-Flight-Finishing-Grinder-Walnut/dp/B00GNKFOTI
The MFLB finishing grinder is $ 35 on their website. It requires you to break up the bud a little bit before using though, but it makes a super fine grind
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GNKFOTI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00 I ordered one of these. It is quite tedious, but really helps out.
I just bought mine a few weeks ago, and it makes huge difference.
I recommend the Magic Flight Finishing Grinder
Here it is. It sounds almost too good to be true.
yes grind upside down or get something that grinds finer.
the MLFB finishing grinder is fucking fantastic aside from needing something to grind into, but it comes with a nice aluminum tin that i use the lid to grind into.
