Please do read a bit more - Kashmir is just a proxy, root cause is religious. After Kashmir it'll be Punjab, then other states. Pakistan is a terrorist nation and has been involved in terrorism since it's inception.

To let you know, US was arming Pakistan with its weapons from Jordan and Iran, asking China to move its forces to the border, all in an attempt to intimidate India and force her from withdrawing from west Pakistan.

If you want a source for many of the claims, I would recommend Magnificent Delusions by Husain Haqqani. It covers and agrees with most of the points that /u/charmingramsaybolton raised, except that it is from the perspective of a Pakistani.
