I've actually recently been learning how to maintain my hair better, so here's way too much information for you:
On days I wash my hair I use this shampoo, and then use a normal hair dryer then use this styling product, then use normal hair spray as needed. On days I don't wash my hair I use this dry shampoo, and then the same steps after.
Biggest struggle is getting enough body (lift). To do that I let my hair dry in the opposite direction of where I want it to go when I am done doing my hair. That helps the roots push the hair more up than over when I start styling it so it's not all flat.
