If the spots that are really white don’t pink back up in 24-48 hours or it discolors ang looks black/ green go to hospital but from the looks it looks like first degree burn, my friend got a oil burn on her wrist and that was just cream and wrap it was much worse than how his foot looks. He prob got lucky water splashed his foot and he kicked it away real quick. When stuff sits a bit and continues to burn it penetrates deeper layers and infection risk / skin grafts are needed. Looks like a surface burn. It’ll sting like hell, if he has no feeling of pain also contact doctor.
