I know grow kits get shit on in this sub. But itd be my first indoor grow and I'm more so making a check list of what I need / what my best available options are.

I'm definitely open to buying everything separately if I'm saving money.

379.99 shipped is how I’d go. Believe me for the money you’d be better off. I’ve tried burlpes even got at 1000.00 plus light (Platinum P600) and can say they can’t touch a qb style light. I’ve got 6 lights in a closet now burple and cobs. Nothing puts out yields and trichromes like the MarsHydro TSL 2000’s I’m running now.

So if ya can go the MarsHydro one if not go for #2 for sure.

And arguably that's not even the best deal if you buy everything peace-meal and didn't buy a filter and ducting (if you're only growing legal stuff that is) and spent the money on your bucket, air pump, net pots and nutrients.

tl;dr; you can get fully outfitted to grow near-professional grade herbs/vegetables/etc for the same price as the aerogarden.
