Yea, seems to be at least keeping them alive but not enough to grow them any bigger, just ordered this a few minutes ago after reading a few other posts about lights. A lot of the amazon weird company named lights are not well described and seem to lie about wattage and stuff.
It's 2022 we have the power of the sun in ~100 watt (actual use) LED grow lights. You can put that plant wherever you want and give it more light than it was ever getting from a window.
This should be plenty for that size: Mars Hydro TS1000

Right on.
If you look at some of the newer LEDs, like this Mars Hydro ts1000, its true wattage is 150w.
It says in their description that it replaces a single-ended 250watt HPS.
So you'd need 2 of these to replace a 500w HPS for the equivalent.
So a 300 true watt LED would replace a 1000w HPS, if it's a reputable light.
You’re gonna wanna greatly consider upgrading your light game. I know this is sometimes easier said than done, but at that point, you’re better off just keeping those by a window.
I’m a Spider Farmer guy myself, but Mars hydro makes great affordable and comparable lights. Something to consider if you wanna start growing some bangers.

If you do any significant amount of growing indoors, I'd recommend getting a full spectrum light with a dimmer and just turn it way down for seedlings. Maybe that's just me, though, because I've yet to keep my "germination station" (the small 2x4x5 tent I started with) limited to just seedlings. I always wind up putting other stuff in there because I try to maximize the footprint of all my lights. If I have a light on and some of that light is going straight to the floor without hitting a plant, I feel like I'm wasting money.
hard to go wrong with a Mars TS1000
You can get this same light,
turned it up to 100%. put a layer of perlite since i have an open window nearby as a safeguard against potential gnats. this mars hydro ts1000 has been doing great! just ph'd water for now and some KLN every once in a while
both seedsman seeds, dyna grow nutes, dr earth soil and grown under a mars hydro ts1000
the little one is larry lemon about a week old. grow in doctor earth soil and under a mars hydro ts1000 turned up to 100% now. loving this new light so far.

For reference, i grew a single plant under that light. I did top it and mainline it though, so it grew much wider than a plant normally would.
Need a link to the greenhouse so we can see how big it is and how the racks are . If you’re using artificial light it’s going to be more intense the closer to the light . If you want even lighting on all of the racks you will need separate lights under each rack, otherwise you could maybe get get away with putting the low light plants on the bottom but the ones above will shade them, this will work better if the thing is outside or by the window getting natural light too. If you wanna just put one light on top a full spectrum led would probably suffice for what your doing, not sure what strength though . It’s going to be pretty strong close to the light but once it gets a few feet down the light will get pretty weak even though it looks bright, so you gotta check the specs. If you have like four racks in both sides you can put a light in the middle but you may be better off putting two weaker ones on each side instead, because not only does the light get weak with distance below but distance going off to the side too. These lights have a good diagram of how the light spreads if you scroll through the pics. it’s the fourth picture in that particular light covered 3x3 feet but as you can see it’s most intense in the middle, so if you put that in the middle of two racks , most of the light would get wasted
Using a Marshydro TS1000
And just kratky, wanted to keep it simple for my first set up

Unless you need it immediately I would just buy a light on amazon, like this one https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Hydroponic-Thermometer-Hygrometer/dp/B07RSRX1RS/ref=pd_aw_sim_86_6?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07PLY1WKK&pd_rd_r=1e116a7c-5d4a-44cc-a9ce-881dcc45bd3a&pd_rd_w=cxW5h&pd_rd_wg=fX6UX&pf_rd_p=3fdfe4d1-5...
It's 10 more watts and like almost 25% cheaper
Not worth it. I briefly had a Viparspectra "450W" (actually around 200W), I wasn't very impressed by it. It stopped working after 10 days, so I returned it and got a QB. Those work great, but they're expensive.
While I haven't used one myself, the [https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Hydroponic-Thermometer-Hygrometer/dp/B07RSRX1RS/?th=1](Mars Hydro TS 1000) series is supposed to be one of the better budget LED options from Amazon right now. You didn't mention what size tent/canopy you'll have, for a budget grow I'm guessing 2x2.

Far superior to the spider farmer. I have a sf1000 and is is way under powered.
my friend, there is a lot to unpack here.
First welcome to growing weed, its the best hobby around, My first attempt was in a way to hot closet with no airflow and a Work light from home depot, It did not go well.
I commend your desire for a creative grow, but as other said any kind of hydro is much trickier to maintain in the sweet spot the plants need, PH shifts, Nutrients, root rot issues, aerating the water, keeping the water in the correct temp range etc.
I used to run a lot of DWC and when the plant was in flower it was drinking 2 plus gallons a day.
second that light is not gonna cut it. not trying to be a downer but just realistic.
Do you have space for a small tent? If I were you and had a little cash to invest. I would buy a 2x2 or 3x3 tent, get a inline duct fan, a good PH meter like an apera, some good soil, like sohum or michigan M3 mix, and a couple fabric pots and a decent led light
this would cut it but two would be better for flowering. you really get what you pay for with leds. I prefer cob leds for light penetration and intensity
I run these and these are great too
good luck

Be careful 😉 [recommended] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RSRX1RS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_KXBDVRQY6HB8Y5Z756PG) you could get 2-4 plants depending on what your looking for. But I'm your price range I recommend this.
Just a few bucks more and you can get a halfway decent LED. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RSRX1RS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_GFA0SNCQGK780WMKETNJ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
This is a little cheaper
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RSRX1RS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_4MAA40MVCG70S27NB23G?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 this light is cheap and good for beginners. Don't go over 3x3 and keep to two plants and this will do you some justice.
All strains stink. That's just the way of the plant. Gorilla glue is a stinkier kind I've heard. Northern lights I know from experience isn't that stinky but I still wouldn't grow it without a carbon filter.
Things you must buy:
Light.
Inline fan.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JB292JC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_AMBSXGSCBA2GB181YBVP
Carbon filter.
If you can find a cheaper carbon filter you can probably risk it to save $20. The fan can be cheaper too but this brand is the only brand I trust to not be noisy 24/7.
Once you get all three of those items you might need some 4" ducting like this but you should be good to start growing in your closet!
Try to vent your air outside but if you absolutely cannot do so, venting it into the house shouldn't be a big issue. The carbon filter should remove 99% of the smell and the rest is just the small amount of humidity one plant will put off!
Don't overthink things! Get a 3 or 5 gallon fibre "smart pot", some garden soil that is NOT miracle grow and boom! You will have a couple ounces before you know it!!
Yep sorry you're right about the light, I got this one https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Spectrum-Greenhouse-Hydroponic/dp/B07RSRX1RS
I couldn't get op link to load but it's probably very similar. Researching lighting was another rabbit hole, and gave me a headache. like this https://www.horti-growlight.com/en-gb/par-ppf-ypf-ppfd-dli I was like alright enough let's just roll with what we got and hopefully things grow lol
I ran 2 of these lights in a 3x3 with 3 plants and was very happy with the results.
Hello! Yep, these are grow lights. Mars Hydro 1000w lights.

Here’s a 120W Alibaba light with Samsung diodes
Spyder farmer has a real quality control issue as well as full on fakes being sold as QB leds.
MarsHydro is reliable and affordable. They use the exact same boards as HLG. The only difference is they use a chinese-knockoff ballast (power supply / driver) instead of the more favored and reliable Meanwell Drivers. The HLG really does carry a price premium I just cant justify. Even with the MeanWell Supply.

I and MANY others here use the marshydro TS1000/2000. I am EXTREMELY happy with this light and get fat, juicy, dense buds with the light 12-14" off the tops.

Got two MarsHydro tsl2000’s and super glad. Much better results 1/2 the price.
Newbie here but 1. no, that light is terrible. 2. Your harvest will depend a lot on your light. You're going to spend at least triple on the light or you will struggle to get the results you want. Look around for full spectrum lights. A lot of people look at the Mars Hydro and Spider Farmer on amazon. They'll look like this:

Look for true draw the wall as your wattage guide and aim for 30-50w per square foot of your tent.
