I’m nooby too bro. Couldn’t tell you those numbers off hand, but here’s the link to the light.

For that money you can drop a few more bucks on this. Yes it’s more, but it’s a fine starter light. You’ll do well with it.

You will be disappointed in your results with a LED that weak. You'll put all the daily effort into caring for your plant to end up with almost nothing and what you do get will not be dense. I'd get at least this for a small tent with one plant https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Hydroponic-Thermometer-Hygrometer/dp/B07PLY1WKK/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?crid=1OIQ7VSG81AGB&keywords=led+grow+light&qid=1644814676&sprefix=led+grow+ligh%2Caps%2C207&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jc...
Yeah, that's a 100w light, probably a little better than an LED light bulb. I would suggesting something like this for a bit more $$
A little over budget, but two of these would be 300 real money(jk USD).
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PLY1WKK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_EVSZMDGGA1YNE3WY4150?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Let me know what you think I have more suggestions haha.
Feel free to DM me or whatever too. I only recommended spider farmers cuz it's all I use from seed to harvest and I live the results.
Gelato and GG#4. Do you think if I got the mars hydro this would be sufficient over them? https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Spectrum-Greenhouse-Hydroponic/dp/B07PLY1WKK/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=mars%2Bhydro&qid=1601448225&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1
Yeah, that's not going to be nearly enough light to bring them to maturity. Quantum boards are where it's at, but even something like this will only be enough to grow 4 plants unless you keep them pruned down to nothing.
Here’s the light.

I have them on a 12 on 12 off timer. Also have 2 fans and a temperature and humidity guage. That’s about it man
Both those lights will only flower in 2x2 at best . Don’t waste on burple. You’ll not be satisfied. I’ve got 5 lights in my closet I wish I never spent money on. Minimum you’ll want MARS HYDRO TS 1000W Led Grow Light 3x3ft Upgraded Daisy Chain Dimmable Full Spectrum Grow Lamps for Indoor Plant Commercial LED Grow Hydroponic Growing Light with 342 LEDs Thermometer Hygrometer Timer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PLY1WKK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_JUPnFbV1G3QQ3
I plan to mostly grow Sativas strains, fwiw. But does that vs, say, this TS1000 have any impact?
I've seen quite a few post from people who like the Mars Hydro TS 1000.
Hard to argue it's not misleading when the description (Amazon sales page) for the MarsHydro TS1000W, for example, they literally say: "designed to replace a single-ended 1000watt HPS".
Yes plug and play I used some electrical tape on the dimmer connection but not needed. The dimension is both both panels combined. I have several different lights in my room as I have progressed thru grows and these lights the plants seem to prefer. They all get bigger buds on the part of the plant that is under that light footprint. Hope that helps. It's a weed though so it will grow no matter what light technically. I was also impressed w the mars hydro 1000 on Amazon too it comes w a lot extras for growing https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Hydroponic-Thermometer-Hygrometer/dp/B07PLY1WKK I think it gets to hot so you probably would need additional equipment for this tho such as fans.
Yeah, that tent was a good find. I got my 4x4 from crazy deal for $120. But yeah, i don't know about those lights. You reckon I should fork out for this - https://www.amazon.com.au/MARS-HYDRO-Lights-Spectrum-Efficient/dp/B07PLY1WKK/ref=sr_1_27?dchild=1&keywords=grow+tent&qid=1626825171&sr=8-27
I really just wanted the tent cheap tbh, so thanks for that. I just get a bad feeling about those lights.
For the ts1000 all up including shipping I payed $220NZD, currently unavailable but they do restock often, amazon.com.au/dp/B07PLY1WKK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_ZC1N4G16PVWYGEAQBTHW
Go to your local dispensary and start with clones, much easier than starting from seed. Plus at the dispensary a 10 pack of seeds is like $80, a clone is about $15.
I have a 3x3 tent that's 6.5 feet tall so I can veg pretty tall and it really increases my yields. I'm using fox farms trio for nutrients and their ocean forest soil in 7 gallon fabric pots. I use 2 Mars Hydro ts1000 LED lights.
Here's my last grow. Starting from a clone gives me about 90 days to harvest and I'm getting about 2.5ozs per plant. X3 and it's just shy of a half pound per harvest.
I learned how to grow from reading articles on growweedeasy.com
Good luck!
Definitely just water for at least a week, maybe 2.
It sucks, but at this age things crawl. You barely notice anything growing. Be patient.
I'm lucky to live in a legal state so I buy clones instead of starting from seed. I use only fox farm Ocean Harvest soil and their nutrition trio.
But I don't give them anything until they're established. And I airways give less then what the label says, particularly in veg mode.
Here's my last grow in a 3x3 6.5ft tall tent. 3 plants (jelly rancher) under 2 Mars hydro ts 1000 led: https://imgur.com/a/UCVC37m
In my experience, light is the key thing that gets your plants and buds big. I won't discount soil and nutrients, but imitating the sun is the important one.

lesson learned, this is the first grow in two decades so it's always gonna be bumpy on the first grow. For a 2x2x4 tent, do you think that light will cut it? I'm making sure it doesn't get dry like that again.
Another person mentioned this light as a possible upgrade for the current one I have. For a 2x2x4 or whatever tent, do you th ink that will cut it? thanks for the input!
Hello! Just set up my first 3x3 grow tent. What do you all think about using this as my light source? Flexible for different seed/plant strains, and a good beginner?https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Hydroponic-Thermometer-Hygrometer/dp/B07PLY1WKK/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=led+grow+light&qid=1619123706&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFRTVhONUk1UjBYMVkmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA2NDYyNjIxOTdTSU1KOE40MlM0JmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA4MjY0NDMzTDVNTUE1WlYyT1hBJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
I kind of agree with rubber ducky, that's half the power of the other option. It would work for the space you are talking about, but be on the very minimum if not slightly undersized. You'd be better off with the ones he linked to, or if you don't mind Mars Hydro, the one I linked below. I'm not a huge fan of MH. I have two of those and two Kingbrites, and would go with KB over MH any day of the week. But they aren't terrible lights either, mine work fine for the most part. KB just has better diodes and overall construction.
I'm in MA. Here's the light and thanks!
I think you’re right and I got the numbers mixed up, and it’s about 4’ x 4’
https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Hydroponic-Thermometer-Hygrometer/dp/B07PLY1WKK
I just bought a vivosun tent 2 weeks ago(4x4) and it's a good tent, don't get me wrong, but after a number of complaints I got a refund for it and they let me keep it. It just wasn't the same quality as my 3x3 viparspectra, which isn't like great quality either. They both are perfectly functional though and for a first grow I would go with either. If I was you I'd buy in parts as you need it as follows
Light for 3x3 (great bang for the buck) https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Hydroponic-Thermometer-Hygrometer/dp/B07PLY1WKK
3x3 tent (vivosun will work and is good, you can find ones for 30-40 more but you don't really need to pay more) https://www.amazon.com/VIVOSUN-Hydroponic-Observation-Window-Growing/dp/B01DXYMKIO/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=3x3+tent+grow&qid=1606928967&sprefix=3x3+tent&sr=8-3
You'll need fans for air movement and to help with climate control I jist use a couple $15 ones from home depot, you can get whatever you want
And then whatever seeds and medium and supplies you decide on. You'll need a good filter if you need to keep the smell discreet but you are probably 1 and a half months out from needing that so you can save up and research. Everyone says to get infinity but I can't comment on this as I haven't needed one yet, 2 months and 13 plants in.
Hope this helps man.
Is this what you’re mentioning? I MARS HYDRO TS1000W
Skip flourescent, Get led grow lights for weed, most cactus need full sun if the temp is above 50° or they will etoliate. Spiderfarmer and mars hydro are good brands. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07PLY1WKK?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_image
This bad boy has treated me well. I think last I checked, I was reading over 80,000 lux over a foot away from the light.

If you don't mind me asking: What's the difference between
SP150 and Mars Hydro 1000? I feel like the Hydro 1000 is the better deal?
Not discounting 2 lights at all! Just curious. I'm looking and I can't really see the difference besides price and amount of lights needed.
Yes, I also own
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PLY1WKK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_1ARmFb3FJ7AKD
And
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082Y1PMWF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_xBRmFbQCP9RS1
Any of these will work well.
If you want brand name and can afford it then you should get
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C57J7XX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hCRmFb7NCKE5W
You won't be disappointed with any of these
This is what I'm using https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PLY1WKK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-7XdFb02M9BHM at about 18 inches from top of plant. It was closer until I moved it this morning.
This seems like a good place to ask - I just started growing and started with some blurples on amazon. After trying out a COB I immediately replaced the blurples with COBs, no problem there.
But is it worth it to replace the COBs with a QB? I have two 250w (actual wattage) COBs for a 3x3 tent which ran me 300$, is there a 300$ QB that will fill this space alone on Amazon and would it be worth it to upgrade? I know blurples alone are bad, but COBs seem much better and if I can use them for this grow and then get a QB later I will, just not sure whats actually worth it at this stage.
Those lights are the absolute worst of the worst. I saw you purchased recently, I recommend returning them for a refund ASAP, tell them you ordered the wrong lights, because you did.
You should get something new, significantly better like Quantum Boards.
Here is Mars Hydro's Latest Version(100 watts) - 2 gram per watt.
SpiderFarmer 1000 (100 watts) is really good, they advertise 2.5 grams per watt. Check them out on amazon.
