How many pepper plants do you think I could grow with one rectangle light? If I end up liking it I'll buy a second one for my other plants I'm having to bring in for the winter. Just to be sure, you're talking about this one, right?
Mars Hyrdo TSL 200 for $287.50 will do great in a 2x4 and save some money.
I use Mars Hydro TSL-2000 you can get on Amazon. I have 3 total. Very nice high quality decent priced grow lights, I’m sure others on here are running them and enjoy them as well!

Ok you have some options in that range. The best is to try for a full spectrum light, not one of the blue and red led’s you typically see. That’s not to say that they won’t work, and they may actually be a great starting point, just that if you can, get full spectrum. For a tent your size, this would likely be a good option: Mars Hydro full spectrum 2000W light
I got the MARS HYDRO TSL 2000W (39.2 in. L x 9.96 in. W x 3.54 in. H) which covers the 4 ft L x 2 ft W shelf. Learning a bit about what I'm looking for in lights but this one does well. My variegated calico kittens are practically red, they're so sun stressed. But my E. 'Suryeon' refuses to show me those rainbow pinks that I miss ;-;
I have the older version of this one - without the dimmer. The chords that came with it are barely even long enough to reach the extension chord laying outside and at the bottom of the tent- the chord is extremely short. Same with the SF2000 chord. With the HLG’s it’s a breeze to get the drivers out of the tent-
Is there something I’m missing? Can you explain to me how to get them out of the tent with the TSL2000?

To cover a 6-foot tank with good light, take a look at the MARS HYDRO TSL 2000 or VIPARSPECTRA Pro P2500 LED grow light. They aren't the cheapest options, but they work well.

That's unlikely, but that information is also available on the Amazon product page as well (second to last image, "Flexible Dimming Design")
I'd go for the TSL 2000

if you are in the market for it, I highly recommend both. has made this whole process really easy.

Below are links to the two I own. Looks like Mars Hydro finally put the dimmer as an outside dimmer switch, which was one of my beefs. On mine, you have to pop a plug out of the driver and stick a screw driver in blindly to adjust light intensity, so that is a big improvement. In general, though, they use cheaper diodes and are just poorly constructed. The Kingbrite is a good build for cheaper. I don't personally own Spider Farmer, but again, they build with better parts and have a good reputation as a better overall light.
IDK bro, that one says it only covers a 2X2 area?
This one covers 4X2 and doesn't cost as much as the SP3000

These are all in CAD so if you're a yank, it should be hundreds cheaper.
I used to spend $200-$350 a month on medical cannabis. I spent $400 on a light (mars hydro tsl 2000) and a $120 grow tent off Amazon. Add another $160 for a single inline fan with 10' of ducting and a carbon filter and that was literally all I had to buy to get started since I had access to seeds and soil and pots already.
$680 for a tent that now regularly produces 1lb every 90-120 days. Say it takes 4 months to grow and I only spent $200 a month on cannabis during that time. I've already spent MORE on cannabis in that time then I did on my grow setup. It's actually kinda crazy how much money I save now and how much it has improved my quality of life not spending so damn much per year on cannabis with my already very limited budget. I was lucky I was able to spend that money, I definitely had to make some sacrifices but it's been so worth it!
I HIGHLY recommend getting a tent and growing year round indoors. It is great for my mental health in the winter when it gets dark and cold up here for months and months and months. Just being able to trim some vigorously green plants is good for the soul!

Look for a 2 x 4 tent (24" x 48") seems I can't find any in stock right now to get a price.
These prices are in freedom units:
Light (with timer and hygrometer) $270 Tent: $80-$100 Fan: $120 Carbon filter: $35
Total: $525
That's $525 that will actually save you thousands if you are a chronic. Unlike a ps5 haha
I finally switched my flowering closets to LED quantum boards from HPS, and I would go that way for sure. I've got 2x4 rooms, so I bought the Mars Hydro 2000 (https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Spectrum-Updated-Growing/dp/B07PLZLKVM?th=1). The other Amazon option is the Spider Farm version, https://www.amazon.com/Spider-Farmer-Commercial-Greenhouse-Hydroponic/dp/B07TVD1Y3K/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=spyder+farm+led&qid=1589203202&sr=8-2. If you want something less expensive, you can buy direct on Alibaba, and the brand I hear discussed is King Bright. But I don't know much about those. Again, the two options I mentioned are made for a 2x4 space, so it kind of depends on the size of your grow room. And I went the Amazon direction because Alibaba takes a long time to ship, and I wanted to switch over right away, as I was in between grows.
Depends on how cold, but this young I would bring them in at night and put them out in the morning. Shouldn't need supplemental light. And once they are a few weeks older, I'd think your greenhouse would be fine even overnight. As I mentioned, I'm no expert on LED's, and it largely depends on the grow size you plan indoors. I have two 2x4 flowering closets. The first link is the light I now use. The second is the competing brand. Both are Amazon, but a lot of people go on Alibaba and order Chinese imports. I hear about Kingbright. And then there are higher end (more expensive) brands, but I'm just not that knowledgeable about lighting. There are, however, lots of discussions on these boards about them. Search QB, quantum boards, LED, etc.

Aside from this one being a bit stunted grow #2 is going great! The plants seem happy with their new light and I can't wait for the weeks to come!
