Whoa man relax, i've just heard good things about the brand and that's the only place to get it. I'm also thinking about this light for a 3x3 tent. Planning on growing 4-5 plants. Budget is right around 200 (give or take 50 bucks) for the light. Would this be better?
I have 1 of these in each of my 3x3 tents and they do pretty well for the price, but any quantum board style lighting at around 300 watts from the wall would do you well
This is the Mars Hydro that would best satisfy a 3x3.
I got two Kingsbrite lights totalling 340 watts (40 watts per sq ft) and spent $311.
You can, of course, use less light/cheaper lights, but your yield will reflect the less light.
I ended up ordering it but it says on the listing that it’s definitely good for 4x4 ft MARS HYDRO TSW 2000W Led Grow Light 4x4ft Coverage Full Spectrum Grow Lamp for Indoor Plants Daisy Chain Dimmable Veg Bloom Light for Hydroponics Greenhouse Commercial Indoor LED Grow with 684pcs LEDs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PLYR5HG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_6k.WFbY5GKWKZ
With the light, I'll try to keep it simple.
Just stay away from the cheap crap on Amazon. Viparspectra, kingbrite are the lowest quality I'll go. Then Mars hydro, spider farmer. Then you get into the nice lights like HLG, growers choice, gavita.
Look for quantum board and/or bar/rail style LEDs. About 240w for a 2x2, 480w for a 4x4.
Some LEDs are all around type lights, meaning good for all stages of growth. Like the Mars hydro tsw2000.
Others can be more specific, like my kingbrites are 3000k, and use them for flower. It has more red, like the autumn sun. The lower the kelvin, the more red(looks kinda yellow), in this example.
So like a 5000k light would be used for veg and has more blue (soft white).
I would suggest starting off with spider farmer or Mars hydro.
TSW2000 my bad https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PLYR5HG/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_dl_WMPQ4CJCS3W2MZ00MP3R?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
All the lights in that price range are going to be more or less the same. Just make sure they have meanwell drivers and Samsung boards and you'll be ok.
Sorry but it looks like you might be too late... Theyre so etoliated and leggy youre not going to want to flower them like this, even if you had proper equipment... But If i were in your shoes this is what I would do:
What you can do is get some cloning gel and some seedling trays (with the plastic cover on top for humidity) and a seedling heating mat. Take as many good clone cuts as you can (3nodes) and in a few weeks you will have a fresh start with tons of plants. Those clip lights will be ok for cloning or seedlings if you put them super close but thats all they are good for. You are going to need some decent led panel lights at the very least... I've had good experience with "Mars hydro"lights on a budget, you should check for used lights too. Buy the best you can afford and dont try to spread the light over more area than it can cover. if you cloned ok, you will have more clones than will fit under your lights, so pick the strongest ones and give the rest to friends.
What about the genetics? Are these just bag seeds you popped? If they are photoperiod you will need a tent so you can give them the right amount of darkness when you flip them to flower... If they aren't feminized you might have males (wont produce flowers and will seed your buds).
If all this sounds like too much, then just get this light and grow a couple feminized autoflower seeds in some soil. Easy peasy
I use this. Check my profile for some pics of my last grow. I got 12 oz off 4 plants using that light

My tent is 24”X24”X55” I had to run this for height limitations for this grow. The light takes up all of the tent. I wanted even coverage and this light does just that they spread the diodes out for the 2021 model and it’s great I can’t wait to run it in a 3X3 next and really see what it can do. MARS HYDRO TSW-2000
Again you don’t know what you’re talking about.

If it was me, I’d probably go for the bigger model, the TSW2000 but overall I’ve heard good things about Mars Hydro. I personally have had nothing but good experiences with Horticulture Lighting Group. I’m saving for the newer models but I have a handful of the little 100watt boards that I can move around easily. I am currently running 2 little 100watt boards in a 2x4 tent.
Or they have a long one tsw 2000 is what I just upgraded too that will cover enough for 2 maybe 3 plants
She has been flowering for a little over a week now.
You can see where I burnt the amnesia haze next to it from now realizing how strong this light is but the runtz is happy as a claim in the same conditions and really taking to the mainline well.
I just got this. Not sure if it's the same thing. I have 9 seeds in peat that will go under this new light when they're potted. The dimmer knob is IT! Wow.
While I have you on the line, let me run this past you.
I have a mixture of lights that are all basically the same: veg setting and bloom setting and range in watts from 600 to 2000. I've just added stuff along the way.
My two plants in flower are under a 2000 and looking good. My lights are also from four different manufacturers. My room is in my basement, and I have tape on the floor to mark the boundaries for each light. It's six 'stations' (including flowering). Only two have the same wattage and are also from the same manufacturer. I can get my lights as low as 12" off the floor.
What I've done with this mess is setting up each station a little differently in light. If I have a plant or two that look like they're getting too much light, I'll take them over to a different station and give them just veg light from 18-20" until they recover. Most plants that don't look right spend a little time in veg light hospital
There is also a station where the light is more intense, and this is where I'll put lagging plants or really healthy ones, and I am testing to see if she'll take more light. I start low and work up. I prefer this to getting into too much light problems because then you have to back up and you probably lost leaves, etc. Lesson learned from a mistake. I have a seedling station. And I can change anything at anytime. I'm using one of those 3 in 1 sensors to measure light that gives me relative readings.
Is this all wrong? Or does it make sense? I've spent a lot of time researching and learning, but getting knowledge from an experienced cultivator is, to me, much more valuable.
Muchas gracias!
Oh man for that price you can honestly get a much better light. White light quantum board LED'S cannot be beat. You can get a kickass light for that price! Mars hydro would get you a light that could easily grow a lb under.

That light would smoke the light you have now. I'm not even kidding. Ignore wattage, it doesn't matter as much anymore. The light I linked is the Mars hydro TS 2000 and it uses 300 watts but outputs a usable ppf of about 530umol. A 600watt HPS light outputs around 720umol. That light you linked uses 400 watts and there is absolutely no way it's as efficient as the Mars hydro TS series. If I had to guess? It's probably around 350-400umol. I doubt anyone really knows because why bother testing it? It's old trash. Seriously! I have a TSL2000 that regularly pulls a lb. That's under 300 watts.
so i came into two of these do you think that will replace a 1000w hps sufficiently?
Yea I don't think that will work . Want something like this mars they have smaller ones to
I used a small spare room in my house. This was my light. I had them in 10 gallon smart pots.
If you are on a limited budget I would recommend the Mars Hydro TSW2000 ($229 right now)https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Spectrum-Updated-Growing/dp/B07PLYR5HG it is 300w, the same as shown in the post and should be plenty for a 4x4. If you want to step it up and grow some super dense nugs you could go for the Mars Hydro TS 3000 ($450) https://www.amazon.com/MARS-HYDRO-Commercial-Hydroponic-Greenhouse/dp/B07VPF7KKR which is 450w, but rated for the same 4x4 area,
Depending on space there are a lot of options for lighting that will significantly increase yields from what you’re currently seeing. I flowered under a mars tsw-2000 twice in a 3x3. Power draw is a little over 300watts. The average yield was between 12-14 ounces for entire space. Not bad for a little quantum board that cost about 200$. The Photontek (Lumatek) sq300w pro has a yield estimate of 13-18 ounces (a slightly better led a slightly higher price point).
When shopping LEDs I typically opt for an led that’s rated for slightly larger space than I intend to use it in. For instance I have a ChilLed x6 600watt that is rated for a 5x5, but I utilize in a 4x4. This allows me to operate the led at a lower intensity increasing the lifespan of the fixture and diodes, but also allows me to operate at higher hanging heights or even utilizing co2 to maximize potential. I typically shop with companies that don’t exaggerate their data. Like ChilLed, HLG, photontek/Lumatek, luxx lighting co, green sunshine co, mammoth led etc.
If you’re seeking a fixture that won’t break the bank, but take you to the next level (so to speak), Mars has some decent fixtures and they’re similar to spider farmer and viparspectra. They’re not top shelf LEDs, but priced to sell and are significant upgrades from your current. Take advantage of sites like coco for cannabis light calculator. While they don’t have a lot of tested units, there are plenty there to make an educated decision.
If you are looking to stay in your budget an 8x4 tent probably isn't going to be the way you want to go. You're going to have to have a ton of light to properly grow in that space. If you downsize to a 4x4 you could use this light https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PLYR5HG/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_E6EGBY0J0DK3E551BB94
I'd consider that the bare minimum. If you're willing to spend more you'd get nicer flower with something like this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TXFR69M/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_JEBRVW15N750WPXFMMHW
For a 3x2 space ideally you'll want 200-300 watts.
This one is a 300 watt light I have heard very good things about. It can cover a 4x4 space and it's a really nice price on Amazon right now, too.
If you want to save a little money this one could be a nice option as well. I believe it is 230 watts and has a 2x4 coverage area.
you think two of these could replace a 1000w hps?
Yescoms are great, but if you want some primo lighting here are some good options:

I did not realize how powerful this light is and ended up bleaching her pretty bad but I think she will recover okay.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PLYR5HG/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_fabc_KLPXFbG5W5GWZ you think this light will be sufficient for 4 plants in a 4x4 tent?
Your best bet would be to look at "quantum board" style lights. They are boards with many small LED diodes etched on. If you decide on a options 2-5, Makes sure to get a 240w board of higher for your intended grow space.
Here are some options off of amazon:
Here’s another option I just picked up the ts600 myself
