> ... what's up with three ... ?
My understanding is as follows. (I'm literally half-asleep right now, but I'm sure someone will correct any errors or omissions here.)
Currently, in the U.S., the third season remains available for purchase from Amazon.com (and other U.S. outlets e.g. iTunes, Google Play, Vudu, and the Microsoft store). — [Edit: Also in Canada from iTunes and Google Play, if I'm not mistaken.]
The first two seasons are available to U.S. Prime members at no extra charge, but not yet the third season. At some point during "winter", the third season should become available for U.S. Prime members (without requiring them to pay extra for it).
I'm not aware of any announcements about future availability to Prime members in various countries outside the U.S. — (Some recent reply-tweets from Prime Video support accounts have said they don't yet have any information to announce about that.)
For viewers outside the U.S., one current option for viewing Season 3 is to purchase the U.S. Blu-rays. According to some reports by users and a third-party reference source, those Blu-rays are region-free (even though Amazon lists them as Region A/1).
In US it is in Amazon, Google Play, iTunes, Microsoft Store, Vudu and others.
Very different to UK (and other non-US/CA/NZ countries) where it is not available at all.
Sign the petition.
Go on amazon.com and buy Season 3 with a season pass
Also buy the blu-ray:
(and for S1-S2 if you want).
(the S3 bluray is currently one of the top-20 most popular products on Amazon as a result of this)
WATCH the episodes on Amazon as soon as they come out.
Do you have Twitter? If not get twitter and make sure your account is public (is by default). Tweet @JeffBezos, @AmazonStudios, @Netflix, and other people as mentioned in the megathread. Use hashtag #SaveTheExpanse. Follow the cast and crew. Retweet stuff with #SaveTheExpanse. Do this a lot- more the hashtag is used the better.
Buzz about it on social media. Get your friends to sign the petition and do the above actions.
I don't know where you live, but here it is on Amazon US: [link]
Sounds cool. I really liked watching the bonus episode of w/ Bob and David that showed some of the writing process. You even see when David comes up with the line one line in the opening sketch of the first episode, "This ain't no show, mister!"
Is this the DVD that contains the commentary tracks you mentioned? (linked to Canadian Amazon cause that's where I live)
For anyone interested, Season 3 is now available for pre-order on Amazon UK. Bear in mind, it says region free so US and worldwide can still pre-order it nonetheless if a date for US or worldwide isn't announced anytime soon :)
Dude, please don't steal...support the show so we get more content like this in the future. You can buy a season pass from Amazon, and you get the episodes as they are released. Link I'm going to buy the next season myself some time soon.
Amazon has the 2nd season for $3 an HD episode, $2 for SD, or $30 for the season.
Google Playstore has it also
I would focus on technique first with JoJo Mayer's DVD:
Watch it through for the first time and focus on the basic techniques for now. Grab a pair of sticks (I use bigger ones for practice sometimes) and your pad and follow along with the exercises. Do a little each day.
Buy a metronome. I use one on my smart phone (Metronome Beats/Android).
Practice the rudiments and alternate your leading hand or foot. There are plenty websites, apps, and videos for this. Your focus is to breath, stay calm, and control the rebound. Each strike of the pad should sound the same. You could also work in your finger technique. When you are comfortable with each Rudiment (2 mins, no mistakes) then you can look into dynamics. This is where you'll get that Professional sound around the kit and gain that feel everyone strives for.
Listen to your favorite tunes and watch plenty of videos, and maybe covers of the song so see how others may have done a fill, etc.
Do a little each day and make it fun. Even if you have 5 minutes. Practice your single or double strokes. Air drum to songs. Play on a pillow. I even walk around my house air drumming with my sticks to better my finger control.
This should either be all the episodes or most. I can't remember if Sony's release was missing any. But $32 for a majority of The Real Ghostbusters isn't a bad deal to me. As for Extreme Ghostbusters, I think Crackle used to have the whole series streaming, but I've never used that service and do not know if it's even still around.

I just bought it on bluray so I didn't have to worry about it bouncing from service to service, fixing to do the same with the four seasons and the two MHA movies.

Current US Amazon prices (same as iTunes etc.) are here:
> Season 3 HD $29.99 ...
> [click "More purchase options"] ...
> Season 3 SD $22.99
IINM, single-episode purchases will probably be (as usual) $2.99 HD / $1.99 SD.
(If you buy any episodes individually, an appropriate discount
should be credited if you later decide to purchase the season.)
Amazon $23 for SD version. Totally worth it. Thanks for supporting the show! Let's hope its enough for season 4+!
Edit: People. Amazon sells both HD and SD versions, sheesh. Click the link and use your eyes before you complain.

Cowboy Bebop: The Complete Series Blu-ray and the Cowboy Bebop: Complete Series SteelBook (Available now at Best Buy) are the exact same thing. Same disk content, same disk art even so only the packaging is different. The Steelbook does included a Digital Copy through Funimation though. The standard Blu-ray has been as cheap as $20 on amazon (in Dec) so that might happen again. The Amazon Special edition includes the same disks as the standard Blu-Ray release but also includes the DVD version of the show as well and has a small Art Book and Sketch Book (line art from the show). The Art book is the size of a standard Blu-Ray case and the sketchbook is a little thicker. If you have any questions on the Editions (US) i can help... i own them all.
Unfortunately this is currently the best option in my opinion:
It’s not streaming anywhere anymore (I sincerely hope the new movie leads to its return to Netflix or something). The complete series isn’t really commercially available anymore either, but the above link will get you almost all of the original, non-“Slimer and” episodes, which are widely regarded as the best (I would also agree). I would advise against buying each season on amazon. There are 10 “seasons”, approximately 10 episodes each, not representative of the shows actual seasons at all, for 10 dollars each. The dvd set I posted is basically the same amount of episodes and is the superior value by far.
If you didn’t grow up with it like I did, and you’ve never seen the show, I honestly think you’re in for a real treat. It’s basically just more adventures of the Ghostbusters, which to be honest is all I’ve ever wanted from the franchise.
If you go to this url: [link] there should be options to buy Season 3. It looks like it's $29.99 atm.
If you want to wait, I suspect that it might move to Prime so it's free for Prime users at the end of September. That's what Netflix loses it overseas, so many of us are speculating that that is when Amazon get's the rights.
this was the official and afaik only one on the website.
This is what I just bought:
Cowboy Bebop: The Complete Series [Blu-ray] [link]
I originally didn’t have a box set, just six separate dvds that weren’t the “remix” versions.
It's worth noting: Any purchases made through the links above will directly profit digitalelixer because they contain his/her Amazon affiliate/referral codes.
Here are the safe, affiliate-free links:

Season 3 is available on Amazon.
Unfortunately, they haven't announced the AOS Season 4 blu-ray release date or if it will even get one.
This one is the one I own:
This is the one I'm asking about:
No worries, mate.
So this is how it works basically:
Funimation originally released the 8 volume set between 2010 and 2012.
However, because of a plagiarism scandal with the composer, they changed the music half way through, so the first four volumes are inconsistent with the latter four.
So in 2012, Funimation released a new set called the Season set, which is in four volumes and spans the Saiyan to the Cell arc. The music is consistent all the way through.
The reason why Buu arc was unreleased after that was because Dragon Ball Kai ended it's run after episode 98. However, in 2014, Toei started working on the Buu arc. This was only dubbed in January 2017.
The box sets for the remaining episodes should be releasing shortly. I believe the first one is actually released.
So just to sum things up, "Dragon Ball Kai" ranges 4 volumes from episode 1 to 98.
"Dragon Ball Kai: The Final Chapters" ranges the remaining episodes from 99 onward. The number of volumes is yet to be determined.
The recent Final Chapters can be watched on Adult Swim's website if you have a cable sub.
As for the rest, you need to buy the home video set to watch it.
Alright, to simplify, the Japanese Dragon Ball Z soundtrack is composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi.
The Dragon Ball Kai soundtrack is composed by Kenji Yamamoto.
Toward the end of Kai's run, Yamamoto was fired for plagiarism, and the score of Kai on home releases was replaced with Shunsuke Kikuchi's Dragon Ball Z soundtrack.
The version with the Kikuchi soundtrack can be purchased here.
The version with the Yamamoto soundtrack can be purchased here.
The Kikuchi soundtrack is referred to as the "Season" set and the Yamamoto version is called the "Part" set, and it's older and out of print.
Most stuff that comes out these days has both dub/sub on it.
This link here is for a $28 Blu-Ray of the series and it says in the product that it has both. For what it's worth, I have the DVD-version with the same cover and can absolutely confirm that that one has both.
>SyFy doesn't get any money from Netflix, Amazon...
That's just so gloriously wrong.
SyFy is, right or wrongly known for 'Sharknado' and that sort of shite TV. I long ago gave up on them.
Let's break this down.
SyFy makes money from advertising revenue (I'll come back here in a sec)
SyFy needs viewers for those advertisers, hence the ratings you pointed out.
SyFy puts their show on Netflix/ Prime season 1 for free, the new season you have to pay (that's money that they make by the way but not the point I'm making so I'll let you not count all that money...(which btw I know 3 different people that have paid for season 2as they are 'unplugged' and don't get SyFy... but I digress)
I watched Season 1 for 'free' on prime last week.
GUESS what I'm doing for season 2 now that I've caught up? Go ahead I'll wait. That's right. I am watching it when is airs or shortly after, with those ads etc.
Just for reference. "The Expanse: Season 2" is $24.99 on Amazon and $29.99 on iTunes... that would be a bit more than '...doesn't get any money from...'
Again none of this takes into account how much the world has changed since FarScape was canceled. Game of Thrones and other shows would have NEVER survived 15 years ago.. hell they would never have been made or given the opportunity.
I'm from EU (Finland), so I guess I can get it from the amazon.. But what I was actually asking that is that I couldn't find it from any torrent websites, I guess no one has uploaded it to online.
I wouldn't mind buying it but I still wonder why I can't find any bluray rip out of it.
I guess I will have to just get this then [link] (it's the same on than the funimations one released (Dec 16, 2014)
Well, I initially delayed it because I was going to buy the Blu-Ray box set but I ended up not buying it because of multiple reasons. I'll watch it soon enough, I promise ;>
Yes! there are blue-rays i bought them so I would recommend them, although the aspect ratio is a little weird Here's a link!
Dragon Ball Kai is dubbed up to the end of the Cell arc. You can purchase the Blurays from Amazon. The Majin Buu arc is currently Airing in Japan, and will wrap up in July. There's no word of a dub yet, but we'll probably hear news of one later this year.
This is from BBC Life is anyone is wondering :)
Someone bought me this guy's DVD for Xmas one year.
He's a real goofball.
As mentioned, check out: [link]
If I had to guess, you are holding the sticks too tightly; the energy goes into your hand instead of into the stick rebounding. Are you pushing into the drum? Or do the sticks sing?
My soft little programmer hands have no problem when I play like a retarded ape and beat the shit out of the drums for 2 hours straight.
"From the makers of Planet Earth: Life"
Yeah, Americans will love it.
Compare the sales rank on amazon.com for the Attenborough narrative with the Oprah narrative, it's beautiful.
It doesn't appear they even sell the Oprah edition of Planet Earth as a standalone any more, only bundled with Life.
One thing that will improve your left foot's speed and time is, while playing choruses on the ride, keep time in 16ths with your left foot on the hats. Work on getting a solid, accurate 'chick' sound. Once you're comfortable with this, change it up and play triplets with your left foot or something that will improve your independence.
For your hands, work on the rudiments with a metronome. If you're struggling with your grip and actual stick holding techniques, use Jojo Mayer - Secret Weapons for the Modern Drummer. It's an amazingly detailed explanation of the fundamentals, even down to the physics involved.
