Hi Amy, thanks a lot this is really helpful info! I have picked up a lot of what you said. I was hoping I could get something like this, my main worry was buying something that would end up not actually being any good.

I looked at them again, and I realize that they are meant to press cookies or biscuits onto a flat surface, that's why you would just press straight down on that big handle.
I've decided to go with THIS one, ($16 on Ebay? I think) and also grab one of those add-on icing tip sets with like 90 pcs of different tips. Thanks for your input though!!
