I read that you should take vitamin D with a meal with fat, because fat helps in the absorption of vitamin D.

ETA: My sister recommended these to me and I like them; they're drops.

Idk about the person you responded to, but I take these liquid drops every day and I believe they're good!
Long time but it’s because I wasn’t taking enough. It goes my weight so depending on your size. But if I was as low as you I would most definitely do a loading phase of at least 25,000iu daily for a couple weeks. More if you’re overweight.
Check this calculator https://www.grassrootshealth.net/project/dcalculator/
Also get some vitamin D with MCT oil and K2
Yes my numbers increased. My vitamin D took some time though because I stared at 5,000 then up to 10,000. I’m fat though so it takes much more to get to the levels for me. So I didn’t see normal blood levels until I took about 35,000IUs for about 6 weeks and now I’m on a maintenance dose of 14,000 IU daily
My vitamin D levels started at 16 and are now 89
My B12 was 300-450ish and since taking B12 drops daily my levels are around 1200.
I’ve tested my magnesium and it’s normal.
Also, the B complex from Kirkland is something I used to take but it uses cyanocobalamin instead of methylcobalamin.
It’s my understanding that cyanocobalamin is synthetic and contains cyanide which I personally don’t like.
Here’s the supplements I use:
Personally,
I hated school.
Did poorly, was often in trouble for not paying attention, being disruptive, etc.
I did recently get on a script / get treatment for ADHD & it's changed my life.
Oh how I wish I had been diagnosed decades ago..... and if not medicated, at least to KNOW about it so I, my parents & teachers could help me accommodate it.....
It's literally like telling someone who's mising a leg to "just tough it out"
You can't.
Anyway; school is a joke. Other than the social aspect, modern schools, colleges & universities are indoctrination camps.
Whats' the worst that happens if you just try homeschooling for a semester or year?
We are going to do it.
Re: SAD:
That's no joke either & I also suffer badly with that.
Few tips:
- Take a good Vitamin D Supplement. I've read that taking Vit. K2 with D helps absorption.
This is what I take & really like.
I seriously feel a really big difference, esp. in the winter.
- Get as many "daylight" / Full Spectrum light bulbs as you can.
I've used these as they are true Full Spectrum, and again; they really help:

Lastly, get outside as much as you can, even on days when it's gloomy, but especially when it IS sunny; take advantage of when it IS nice!
Yeah, but just the amount that comes packages with vit D. I use this one, 1 drop a day most days of the week https://www.amazon.com/Absorption-Vitamin-Liquid-Support-Healthy/dp/B06Y3X5SDZ/
This is my go-to vitamin D3+K2 supplement: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y3X5SDZ/
Other brands that I like are NOW and BulkSupplements.
