These lights are amazing, I think the PB1500 is probably the best value but the PB1000 would be perfect for one plant, and is in your original price range. Wow, that's hilarious. Those smart bulbs use what, 20W of power at full brightness? (Looked it up, it's closer to 10W) You're not going to have happy plants. You can get a much better light for $90 on Amazon and it'll pay for itself with your first harvest.

This is a Maxsisun 1000w QB. My 4x2 has the same light but in 2000w. Best budget QB’s. Seriously this 1000w light was only $80. Find it here.

They stay cool and put out some serious light. They don’t come with a dimmer however but the drivers have a port for that as an option.

I just got a second cfl from them this afternoon and it too does not work. So I ordered this Maxsisun pb1000.
