That's not NVMe, it's M.2 mSATA.
OP needs a USB to M.2 mSATA converter, like this.
Your old MSATA hard drive will not fit in the new laptop. M.2 and SATA are not the same as MSATA. you will have to use something like this if you want to recover data.
Like /u/mhurron points out - you need a mSata-adaptor
