OK, so maybe I am losing my mind but I can't find a router bushing that will work with my router that has a 3/4 OD...(I have a 1/4 straight bit to make the first cuts just like you did)
I find stuff like this: https://www.woodcraft.com/products/3-4-od-x-21-32-id-bushing?gclid=CISBkIWs8NMCFdSLswodn5ED3Q
But I have no idea how to attach something like that to my router, and I cant seem to find any online instructions. Of course I have a bushing kit that fits my router, and the maximum OD in my set is 5/8..grrrrr!!
I have a Ryobi router R181FB1.
What kid are you using and where dud you get it?
I see this kit at stores and online everywhere...
guess what the maximum OD is? 51/64..or .796..WTF?
Was totally jazzed to try your approach today after cutting out a template with a jigsaw was a complete failure...nothing but roadblocks everywhere I turn.
Any tips would be appreciated.
