• Carole claims that many people attribute her success to being psychic.
• Carole will teach you to become rich, and develop paranormal powers: "I [Carole] only completed the 10th grade, but what a person needs to be a millionaire is not taught in schools...yet. This book will teach you that and by the end you will have learned how to exercise your own paranormal powers through extra sensory perception."
• Carole tells why she left her parents' home as a teenager: "I left home at the age of 15, but I must admit it was because of my own misperceptions and not because of anything my family did."
• Carole left home at 15 with a man "much older" than her, a boyfriend named Jim. After leaving with Jim, she drove through a stop sign and caused an accident. She was thrown from the car and woke up in the hospital. Doctors told her she had a broken neck and would never walk again. For some reason (possibly to avoid paying her bill) Carole "escaped" the hospital where she was listed as a Jane Doe. She was taken by her boyfriend to his family, where she was "bed ridden." With the help of a chiropractor and her strong belief that she could accomplish anything, including the ability to walk again despite a broken neck, she was soon walking.
