Maybe this Milwaukee instruments EC meter for $25? https://www.amazon.com/Milwaukee-Instruments-PH600AQ-Tester-Calibration/dp/B005H78ZI0/ref=sr\_1\_8?dchild=1&keywords=milwaukee+instruments+ph+ec+meter&qid=1624383289&s=lawn-garden&sr=1-8
I'm in my second year, so basically an expert at this point 😂
I'd flush with pH-corrected water the next time she needs water, then resume feeding after that.
ps, check your pH after adding your nutrients. My tap water is usually around 7.5/8, but after adding nutrients, I usually need to raise it back up to 6.5.
ps ps, dilute your pH up to make adjustments less frustrating.

When you get this meter (or something like it), don't forget to also buy a storage solution (to save the bulb) and a calibration solution.
I'm a frugal bastard, so I usually store pour a small amount of calibration solution into a small mason jar, reuse that for a while, then replace it with fresh solution every couple months.
Welcome to your new expensive hobby!

well then theres 21 bucks and made by a reputable brand. my mistake for assuming hydrofarm would make a decent product, haha.
the roots definitely look bad which is why I included it in the picture. These are my backup buckets and had moved them out of a dark blue bucket into these white buckets.
I still plan on spray painting the outside of the buckets tonight. You recommend the cheap milwaukee one? I was skeptical about it. Are you referring to this one?
