I just ordered these jars (the same used by lit-logistics in his agar intro vid). And I order my agar blend from Tip of the Cap Mushrooms off etsy.
What I love about this hobby is that you can be as hands-on for as much of the process as you want, or you can outsource a step or two to make things easier. I'll let someone else make the perfect fungal agar blend, I'd rather not have to deal with measuring messy powders.
I wound up just buying the ones that Lit used in his agar vid, these off amazon.
The ones you have will work fine, I did a transfer from one last week (but learned the hard way to pour the media a bit thicker than I did, thinly poured agar is hard to transfer out with a #11 blade...)
I bought mine from amazon (I know I know, but I needed them asap to make some transfers), but I’ve found most home goods stores like walmart or target have a pretty good jar selection. If you’re lazy like I am the link to the amazon page is here. They come with labels and a little chalk marker so I don’t think it’s a total waste of money.
Before I wtched the YouTube video and learned about these jars, I ordered a set of 5 glass Petri dishes. So grateful I got to return them and order these instead way easier and far more cost efficient especially since the dishes needed parafilm.
something like this is perfect

If you need something easily accessible for that you can use these small Mason jars. Just sterilize like a grain jar, with the agar mixed and poured into each jar.
