Check out the Naos line from Mionix.
MIONIX NAOS 3200 Multi-Color Ergonomic Optical Gaming Mouse https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0046Y0Y20/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_NaRIBbM8CBHA3
There is a 3200 and 7000 version, basically their max DPIs. They have been my daily drivers for 6 years now. I have big hands and the comfort they provide is the best. I've used Razer, Logitech and Mionix now for gaming.
If you can stretch a few quid more, the Mionix Naos 3200 is £33 on Amazon (the laser 8200 model is £2 cheaper but - meh, laser).
I have the Naos 7000 optical as my main PC mouse for gaming and general use, and have just purchased the 3200 optical linked here as a mouse for the office. The only difference is max DPI. The Naos is a great mouse if you like this shape, very comfortable, well built, nicely weighted, good customisation with the optional software, braided cable.
No in Bay Area. Have to go lower Amazon has them for $39.99 https://www.amazon.com/MIONIX-Multi-Color-Ergonomic-Optical-Gaming/dp/B0046Y0Y20/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485893418&sr=8-1&keywords=Mionix+naos+3200
I'm looking for a mouse recommendation under the following parameters:
Price: absolute max of $55 but ideally more like $40.
I have more of a palm grip. I play mostly FPS and I also use it to work.
I have average size hands but tend to not like small mice very much.
I don't particularly care about having a lot of programmable buttons. Wireless is cool but I don't need it. I'd rather have a better sensor.
I'd like a mouse that doesn't look like it was designed by a 9 year-old who likes spaceships (nothing against those who do).
My options right now are Mionix Naos 3200, Steelseries Rival 300 or Logitech G402, which are about the same price right now. I also saw the G303 on sale at Best Buy but I'm worried that it is a bit small for my taste. I'm open to other suggestions as well.
Any recommendations?
Have you thought about the Mionix Naos 3200?
I actually just discovered that the Mionix Naos 3200 is right about $40 on amazon, http://www.amazon.com/MIONIX-Multi-Color-Ergonomic-Optical-Gaming/dp/B0046Y0Y20
I might go with this, thanks everyone for the suggestions/offers!
it depends on how use it/ what grip u have, i play games like COD, farcry, GTA, and witcher so i like a mouse with 2 buttons on the side and i like it to be comfortable/ fit on my hand. i tried the razer deathadder but didn't like how it felt in my hand at all, got the MIONIX NAOS 3200 instead and it fits my hand perfectly, love it. here is a cheap alternative, (only buy if your really cant afford the naos) this Zelotes Optical USB Wired Gaming Mouse
I don't know specifically for those games but I recommend the Mionix Naos, you can get higher DPI ones aswell but I personally find 3200 to be enough.
