My recommendation would be to try a combination of a poggrip / ringgrip (maybe with a case that is easy to swap so you don't have it on their 24/7) and a two joint controller clip on like the one from Otterbox: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/77-80483/dp/B08WMRPYMR
Compared to the old style phone holders those not only bring the screen way closer to your face but more importantly with a giant device like yours they balance the weight way better.
Not sure of a joke but there are like a million phone holder for all kinds of gamepads. This one is really amazing for Xbone / Series XS pads with a great weight balancing and brings the screen closer to your face:

To be honest you can also just buy a decent phone clip to connect your console Gamepad to your phone and just use that. The new 2 joints having clip give you a really decent weight balance and so bring the screen closer to your face, which mostly counteracts the downside of having a smaller screen than the 7" 16:10 Steam Deck. Upside is having 120hz HDR OLED screens in most better phones.

Fair enough if it doesn't bothers you of course, but just as a FYI. You can basically with very little to no noticeable latency stream to your phone within your WIFI. I use one of those to play with my XBone controller wirelessly:

Yeah, good luck with that.
I ordered that instead:
