I like the Moleskine Art Sketchbook, Hard Cover, Large. No plot, no characters, no chapters, no words, no illustrations, no lines, no inksmell. Nothing but pure perfect pagefeel. Comes in red, blue and black covers for your color co-ordinating needs.
Closest I can think of is ofc the 8.25x5 moleskine sketchbook that has 100 pages. It takes ink well (I use a really black India ink, microns, brush pens) lays flat, is portable, acid free, accessible in most places, and reliable. although I'm not sure if you'll like the off-white color. That tends to be more of a factor for mixed media artists but I think it should be fine for ink and graphite
most of my sketchbooks are really smooth, random cheap ones, or for watercolor so sorry I can't come up with more options haha

If you are interested in investing in a good sketch book that will be a very satisfying experience, I highly recommend the Moleskine art sketchbook. The paper is like butter. I will say it doesn't handle all markers the best (I think the heavy alcohol based ones like copic soak through to the other side of the paper), but it handles ink really well. It's ~$15 on amazon:

I've even used acrylic paints in the book and it holds up just fine (just don't use too much water if you do).

I've heard the RENDR sketchbooks by Crescent Creative Products are great for marker art as they don't bleed through the page, but I don't know that from experience.
