i recently had to change my desk around and needed to set my pc on the floor, i got this for pretty cheap. it keeps your pc directly off the floor, its pretty sturdy, has holes for airflow and is height adjustable. my desk isn’t that tall and i still managed to fit my computer under it with at least 6 inches on top of the case. would be great if you didn’t wanna kill your psu with dust, i know a lot of dorm rooms that are still dirty no matter how many times they’ve been cleaned...

How much of a difference will this make in cooling my PC? I've had it sitting on carpet for a long time & finally realized I can buy something to improve that situation.

I bought this it has adjustable height and plenty of airflow. I'm overclocking my ryzen 5 3600 a bit to 3.95ghz (stock cooler) and temps never get past 65 degrees C

If anything I put mine on the floor and it was fine but I ended up getting a stand with ventilation holes for $16 bucks on Amazon and it looks much nicer as well

Can use a desk/portable fan to point it upwards at the bottom of the laptop. Most laptops suck air into the bottom and vent it out the sides or top/keyboard area.

This is what I got, but if I were to do it over again, would get just a regular desk fan so it's more multi purpose.

It's the basic Ikea Linmon. I don't recommend it: my monitor arm shakes with it. It was very cheap, as I used to be on a tight budget.
