I've always used a monitor stand for my old Xbox 360, and now my PS4.
I would also agree there is not enough room for a laptop, mouse, and keyboard. But I think a solution to that would be buying a riser like this and put your laptop on top and your keyboard/mouse underneath.
If your worried about and want a more stable base use this, I use these to Seperate my consoles

amazon I bought this one a while back and absolutely love it.
I'm using a monitor riser over my laptop. Just make sure the laptop has a way to vent. Vented monitor stand has holes in it. Adjustable height stand has little lego like pieces for the legs, making it super adjustable. And of course there's the Basic stand. Could even do something the full width of your desk, like double stand, raising the left monitor as well. Would give you a little bit of storage under it. The main problems I ran into when shopping were finding something wide enough so that the legs sit on the desk, short enough not to block the screen, and still allowing access to the USB ports on the sides.

So here’s something I did that might help you:
I also had a problem of keyboard + piano + mouse + monitor placement, and I couldn’t find a way to get all 4 placed reasonably so I had to get creative.
This picture is a few months old but gets the idea across
I got one of these things on Amazon, and what that allowed me to do was to put my piano on top of that to let me keep my keyboard in front. It also lets me slide in the keyboard onto the rails if I need even more space. But the only thing you’ll have to make sure of it that you can see your monitor over the piano.
I checked the dimensions of a couple of these before buying one, so you’d might want to do so too to make sure it’s a good fit.
Put shortly, you may want to try expanding upwards.
