Huanuo Wall Mount for 24 to 35 inch screens, I got it during Prime Day.

Anyone have any experience with this monitor arm? I specifically want to mount an alienware aw3423dwf and the weight seems well below what this arm can take, but just wanted to confirm.
I ordered this wall mounted monitor arm that was rated to hold the weight, but the joint you mount the monitor to can't hold the weight and the monitor just turns towards the floor. I will have a playseat challenge that I'll use for my racing hardwate.
I don't want to go for a big bulky rig. I live in a small 1 bedroom apt and would like it to look decent enough that anybody I bring over doesn't just think I'm just some loser who does nothing but play video games.
I thought a wall mount would be a good solution, but I can't find anything else that would hold the weight.
Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
you need to check if it's compatible with vesa mounts. if you scroll down in your link, it says:
>Does it include spacers for vesa mount? i would like to see it.
Answer: Yes there are 4 threaded spacers included. I mounted mine on the wall behind my desk using this articulated mount using the spacers provided with the monitor.
Sure

You can get one that mounts to the wall.
My desk is an antique and the back of the tabletop curls up instead of being flat, so a clamp wouldn't work for me either.
You would need to drill into a stud, which isn't hard, stud finders are cheap and they come in handy for other things too. My wall has steel studs, typically they're wood but I had no trouble drilling through the steel and inserting the anchors, it's just stamped sheet metal so it's pretty thin.
Now I have even more clearance on my desktop since the mount isn't attached to the desk. I bought this from Amazon for a 34" Asus ultra-wide monitor, they make a dual arm model but maybe installing 2 single mounts will give you the position options you need:

Are you looking for a desk arm or a wall mount arm?
I've had great success with this Huanuo brand on Amazon with both a wall mount and a desk mount version but wait for them to go on sale because they get pretty deeply discounted.
I see you have quite the predicament. I suggest one of theseThese to mount your monitor on your wall. It would allow you to adjust it so that you were comfortable gaming. It would also allow you to easily watch TV in bed aswell.

From Amazon for the ultra wide, needed a more hearty mount for the weight. Am re using a Huanuo dual arm mount that I had the 27’s on, so went with same company for the bigger arm.
I was considering getting a single desk-clamp monitor arm as well, but grew concerned about the sheer amount of weight it'd be holding. Instead I bought two of these and they hold up my 34" Ultrawides just fine. The bottom one's about 12lbs and the top one is about 24-26lbs.
Sure. I use this to overhang a 32 inch over my primary monitors. Works pretty well and has a good range of motion.
I have this for a 32 inch 4k monitor. Its held up pretty well and has good range of mention. Additional 20 percent coupon if you apply. DYOR.
On a previous post when he had dual monitors, he gave this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B1QK2GJ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_0FHE9NS4584G9SB2MNDT

I've actually got that exact Artisul D16!
Cons: It might just be how I handled my tablet (shrimp mode w/tablet in lap), but I've had it for two years now and I think their HDMI cabling could be better. The port is a bit loose, and when it disconnects I need to open up the driver program, re-map the pen to the tablet, then bounce my display resolution to get the pen running in the right direction because I use it in left-handed mode. I also had to go and buy an ultra-thin HDMI cable because the cable that it came with is super thick and ended up breaking internally from the bending. I have it on an arm on my desk now (two links there, take note) and the loose port is much less of a worry, although it does still get loose and come out sometimes.
Pros: 16" tablet is a great starter size. I love the shortcut keys and the dial. It's made my workflow nice and smooth; I edited two to use the Photoshop canvas flip function as well as value proofing. Artisul's tech support is GREAT too - I had a bizarre driver issue after a Windows update last year. XP Pen had me record a video of the issue, then custom-coded a new driver for me that fixed it. It was a great eexperience!

I actually also had an older model of that 12" XP Pen that you linked there prior to my Artisul. I don't remember a WHOLE lot about it except the HDMI cable was the same (I went thru about a cable a year due to the weight eventually just breaking internally from bending the same way, look for an ultrathin HDMI cable). The tablet itself I didn't have too much of an issue with, but IMO a 12" tablet definitely felt cramped once you had to take into account your program's UI made your actual usable drawing space smaller. I also had some tech issues at one point, and they schedule a live troubleshooting session with you for them to remote into your PC to figure out and fix the issue. Again, excellent tech support!
One of these cheap ones:

Probably worth it to spend a bit more, they don't hold some of the adjustments very well.
I'm with you, I develop a lot for 16:9 aspect ratios. The game changer for me was the 48" OLED at 4K. I sit close enough to have small text, and it feels like there's so much real estate.
I've been wanting one of the Neo G9s from Samsung....but the cost....

I couldn’t bring myself to spend a lot of money on mounts and found these. If you were moving then a lot then I would maybe say spend the extra money on nicer ones but if you aren’t constantly swinging monitors around probably not worth it 🤷♂️.

I’ve got some cleanup to do on my wires but that’s what I’m using those mounts for.

Getting 3 of these boys
Hey man, I went for this and just installed it. Personally, I haven't messed with the tension yet since it is in perfect position, but it's really good for the price.
