Yeah airflow/cooling and just the dust and fibers that come from carpet aren't that great. I'm on carpet as well in my rig room and picked up this glass riser that worked out well.

I hate having the canvas dangling from the desk hitting my legs with smaller sizes, so I didn’t know how I was gonna deal with this larger one. I imagined something that could hold the canvas under the desk, but then I saw a monitor riser on Amazon and I knew that’s what I wanted!

It all depends on how big of a picture you want, how far back your audience is, and how high your ceilings are.

I had my UST on a table similar to the Lack mentioned in the other comment ~20” high. This put the top edge of my 120” picture almost flush with the 8’ ceiling; this wasn’t the most comfortable viewing angle from a couch about 12’ away. Moved the projector to the floor and it was a much more comfortable, but wasn’t wild about having a $3500 piece of equipment on the floor so I bought amonitor stand. It still looks a little weird, but I’m all about function not form.

It's called the Monoprice Large Multimedia Desktop Stand. It's only 11" in-depth, so the back of the monitor stand just hangs off a tiny bit in the back of the stand. The stand is very sturdy since it's glass, and it gave me enough clearance for the Audioengine speakers to fit underneath the monitor.

And you indeed correct. I am using Steam's Wallpaper Engine for the Shadows Die Twice wallpaper.

It arrived WITHOUT the glass bit. lmao. Amazon refunded me but let me keep the legs. Funny enough, those are all i really needed.

Mono price makes a glass desktop raiser for like $25 I'll see if I can find a link.

I owned both of those things for my 65" C9, both worked well.

Almost every soundbar will cover an LG OLED, theyre just too low to the table and will cover the remote IR sensor (which is at the very bottom). You'll probably want to look into raising the tv up. I've been using this with no issues for a few months. It hold the TV fine but I filled the space beneath with books anyway for more support.
