>What's the name of the book/guide?
Dive into Monster Hunter World.
>Is this book available on Amazon or online?
>In what languages can I get it?
English and Japanese.
>How much does it cost?
Depends on your currency.
>How much content does it have?
Over 500 pages.
>Is it helpful for understanding the world of MH?
Specifically the New World. It adds context behind near enough every action, fleshes out each monster's ecology, adds backstory etc.
>Would you say is worth it?
>How recent is it?
Original release was early 2019 so it has all of World's updates but nothing on Iceborne.
>How would you rate it as a MH player?
9/10. It's a big book of MH knowledge but a book that size being paperback dramatically lowers how durable it is. There's stories of people opening it for the first time and pages fall out.
Not youtube, but BannedDino is a Twitter account dedicated to sharing all sorts of tidbits on the lore of each of the monsters and the MH universe in general. They've also just got their hands on the English version of the Official Complete Works book for MHW, so a lot of interesting stuff is popping up. If you're willing to fork over $40, you can check out the book yourself.
Here ya go;
They’re making an iceborne one too, but no release date yet
