I recommend reading a book called "More Than a Carpenter" by Josh Mcdowell. He was a passionate skeptic who did thorough research into the validity of the Bible and Jesus.
He has the answers you're looking for:
These are really great questions. There have been lawyers who have written books about evidence of God and Jesus, one was trying to prove Jesus did NOT exist, and when he did all his research, it was overwhelming that Jesus DID There are some books by Josh McDowell you might enjoy. One is Evidence that ademands a Verdit, and one is More than a Carpenter. https://www.amazon.com/More-Than-Carpenter-Josh-McDowell/dp/1414326270/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3AYXY416GFA66&dchild=1&keywords=more+than+a+carpenter+by+josh+mcdowell+paperback&qid=1629560029&s=books&sprefix=More+than+a+carpent%2Cstripb...
The 1 Cor 15:44 verse mentioning a "spiritual body" is talking about the new body we will all have once we are raised from the dead.
>It is the same with people who are raised from the dead. The body will turn back to dust when it is put in a grave. When the body is raised from the grave, it will never die. It has no greatness when it is put in a grave, but it is raised with shining-greatness. It is weak when it is put in a grave, but it is raised with power. It is a human body when it dies, but it is a God-like body when it is raised from the dead. There are human bodies and there are God-like bodies. [...] We have these human bodies first. Then we are given God-like bodies that are ready for heaven. (1 Cor 15:42-44;46, NLT)
Jesus already got a body like this upon his resurrection:
>That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said. (John 20:19, NLT)
It's easy to gloss over this. But the door was locked, and Jesus wasn't in there when they locked it. Either he teleported, or he walked through the wall. One way or the other, that's not a body like we're currently inhabiting.
I saw someone else (sorry, don't remember who) recommending this book recently, and I think it might be useful to you as well. It's essentially establishing the reliability of the New Testament and its contents in a historical manner. Having read through most of it in a couple of days, I find the arguments fairly convincing, and I think it might help you in establishing a more practical faith in the supernatural portions of Jesus' and the apostles' stories.

I suggest reading "More Than a Carpenter" by Josh McDowell.
He was a former atheist and scholar who did thorough research of the validity of Jesus. He did it to prove his Christian associates wrong and you can read about his findings in his book.
>I don't really know if there's a god
A really excellent little book I can recommend is More Than a Carpenter, by Josh & Sean McDowell. On that Amazon link, the first review is by someone who was raised as a Catholic, which you might relate with. I hope you find this helpful in reconnecting with God; having Him as your anchor helps when your life is a stormy sea.
There are all sorts of proof. I recommend you watch this full documentary that puts the Bible under analysis:

Also consider this book, "More Than a Carpenter" written by a skeptic who did thorough research into the legitimacy of Jesus and the Bible:

This book was written by an ex agnostic. Also highly recommend. It's not blind faith.
If you need help to buy them, I'd love to help in any way possible.
I just wanted to add this little book which was written to address the topic of the reliability of the New Testament: https://www.amazon.ca/More-Than-Carpenter-Josh-McDowell/dp/1414326270
The author began this endeavor as an atheist looking to prove the Bible wrong, and ended up as a Christian, having concluded nothing he'd found in all his research could discredit the New Testament as a reliable historical source.
Are you willing to read a short book on this exact topic? (The historical evidence of the existence of Jesus and his disciples, and the veracity of the New Testament.)
If so: https://www.amazon.ca/More-Than-Carpenter-Josh-McDowell/dp/1414326270
(I should really figure out who on here recommended this to someone recently and thank them directly. I've enjoyed this little book and have passed on the recommendation twice now.)
This guy (josh mcdowell) was an avid skeptic and thought christians were crazy. He spent years of his life trying to disprove Jesus and finally gave up and wrote a book on why Jesus is who he says he is. 128 pages laying out the facts.
"more than a carpenter"
I became an atheist because the first part of the gospel was very apparent to me. That people are corrupt. I remember as a kid getting picked on a lot and receiving a lot of negativity and hatred and then I would read in history classes about the holocaust or how we treated the native Americans or the crusades or all these horrific things or turn on the news and see a lot of war and sadness. I became an atheist the day I was confirmed in church, ironically. Weeks before I told my parents I didn't want to get confirmed because I was confused about some things I read and wasn't sure I was ready to commit at that point. They basically told me to be quiet and do it anyway. Then some elder I didn't know put his hand on my shoulder during the ceremony promising to make sure I was a good Christian boy who I never saw again It wasn't until my junior year when everything I put faith in in this world fell apart. This girl I was head over heels over dumped me, my supposed closes friend betrayed me and stole from me, my grandma, who I was close to had quickly developed cancer and passed away, school started getting worse and I felt more alone. I always heard the concept that you need to tear down what is there before you can build over it but now I see what that means. I saw something different and something special in some of the Christians I met and then started going to groups with them. As an atheist I would go to an upwards of 20 hours of church a week; all different denominations and beliefs from Christians, to Catholics, to Mormons, and Jehovah Witnesses. There was not a really a Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, or Shinto presence at my school so I never really experienced that. I personally found it more important to hear from people about their beliefs and testimony than just reading the sacred texts. Anyway, in that process I discovered the second half of Christianity, that while people suck there is redemption in Christ I started to really get into that. The final straw for me was when I read More than a Carpenter! Josh McDowell. It kind of put all the pieces of what I was hearing together Ironically a year after I became saved my mom was telling family members my grandma's dying words to them were to make sure I know Jesus. She swore she told me that before but it sure was news to me...
More than a Carpenter by Josh and Sean McDowell
I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
