The s5 and s6 are phones that are a bit outdated, getting something new is better which better updates will be available, motorola provides good updates for it's phone. A phone with nougat 7 will be a good choice. Used phones am not really a fan of because some people i here complain that sellers doesn't offer them the phone in the condition they issued. You could wait for the new s8 to be released since it is 2 months away. But if you want to look into cheap phones, the Motorola Moto g4 would be the best choice. But it's at 189 if you are a prime user on amazon. Battery life is good camera quality is also good. Micro sd card and 16 gb sotage available.
The Moto G without lockscreen ads from Amazon is 200 bucks. (Activate via BYOP)
That is one option however I would recommend you do your research and see if it meets your requirements.
But also remember it is November so holiday sales and Black Friday is coming so who knows what they might have on sale.
Don't hear anyone recommending the best phone under 200 here the Motorola Moto G4. This phone runs smoothly and i guarantee you that this phone is the best choice under 200 dollars. Battery life is good, has expanable storage up to 256 gb, 16 to 32 internal memory gb, nice screen display. Other details, the moto g4 has good support from motorola and also has the latest android os nougat 7.
The Moto G4 is your best choice under that price. The nexibit robin is fragile and doesn't have good battery life compare to the moto g4 .
It's a pretty nice device, I owned one. The only complaint I have is the fact that the touch latency on that thing is SO DAMN HIGH, so forget trying to do anything that requires precise taps and gestures, like swipe typing or playing games.
If you're willing to go a bit over your budget, you can upgrade and get the Moto G4 for $180. It doesn't have a compass though, so if your area doesn't have good navigation, it'll be difficult to use as a GPS. It doesn't have the touchscreen issue like the G3 though.
The moto g4 plus certainly match these needs. 5.5 inch screen, supported by t mobile and it's roms with good rom support. Also battery life is pretty decent.
Moto G4 is on sale today at amazon for $120 no ads https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DZJFSZ4/ref=twister_B01G7U1RY4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You might still prefer the E4 though for the finger printscanner for one.

Total Wireless uses Verizon's towers which has much better coverage for most of the US, perhaps not where you are though? It's $35/month, Unl talk/text, 5GB data. You can get a nice Moto G at Amazon for $200...or $149 if you want Amazon ads on the lockscreen.
This Motorola is unlocked and ready for use with Verizon. It's only $229.
These are also unlocked and Verizon compatible:

the 16gb non prime offers edition is on sale right now
Moto G 4th generation. Can be cheaper if you get the lockscreen with ads. Having an Amazon Prime tablet, I don't find them to be that intrusive.

The G and the X are different Moto device lines. The G line is mid-rangers, the X line is high-end.
The Moto X Pure and the Moto G4 both include microSD card slots. The older Moto X phones do not.
