I know it's only a minute change, but I have an Ikea MICKE desk and I bought a monitor stand that goes through the cable hole. I have two monitors mounted and the whole thing weighs probably 25-30lb. I have no imprint or issue with my stand. I did notice however that the ikea tabletop I bought was actually two thin sheets of particle board with like corrugated cardboard holding the to and bottom apart? I believe the MICKE has extra reinforcement right by the hole.

The left one is ultrawide, both can move and rotate thanks to this handy bugger. The laptop is an MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro. The desk is an Autonomous Smartdesk
