I have the Varidesk Pro 48 Plus right now. The key for taller people is to get a monitor stand. I got this one: link and it works great. I'm 6 ft. even and would have at least 6" of extra height available if needed.
I was wondering what the desks in dorm rooms were like (specifically foothill). I am planning on bringing a laptop and a monitor (in addition to a desktop PC). I wanted to use a desk clamp kind of vesa mount to have a stand for the monitor and a laptop arm
like this: [link]
or potentially a triple vesa mount for a second external monitor. Something along the lines of this:
Is even any place to clamp the VESA mount on the desk in the back, or should I not even bother with a triple mount and settle for a double mount that doesn't require such a clamp to stay stable? My for-sure monitor is 27 inches and my potential second monitor is 24 inches, and my laptop is going to be 13-15 inches. Will I have room along the wall to do dual monitors or will I have to settle with a single monitor and a laptop.
I have been using this guy for 2.5 years and it works great.
I use this one at work: [link]
No problems (2 years)
