I have the holder linked below and it definitely has better airflow than when it was on the ground. It's worked fine for me. There's clearance on all 6 sides for airflow.

Will AMD's CPUs be available when announced though? My concern is that I'll wait a month for the announcement telling myself it's right around the corner, then another month for the CPUs to actually be for sale, then I'll think "oh I'll wait another month for sales around the holiday season", and when I do eventually buy something, I'll think "was waiting really worth missing out on several months of higher quality gaming?".
I'm ok waiting for improvements and better prices, but I need to draw the line somewhere or I'll never pull the trigger. I just don't know enough to draw the line in an educated manner.
I work from home doing general office work but I use a work mandated laptop on a docking station. I believe I'd want to upgrade my primary monitor to something greater than 60 Hz, but I'd like to stick to IPS and 27". As for a case, it's attached to the underside of my desk using this mount so I don't really want any fancy lights or anything. Accessing the case once it's in place can only be done when all attached cables are removed so I think that should be kept in mind. I have too many cats, and although the case isn't directly on the floor, it would be nice to be able to filter any cat hair that may flow through it. I haven't looked at cases in over a decade so I'd love some recommendations. When I use my computer I'm mostly gaming, so I just need it to work :). I suspect I may want a bit more RAM than usual, as I like heavily modding some games (e.g. KSP, cities skylines, and very recently Skyrim). I'd love some parts list recommendations if you're interested in providing them!
Nice.
I have the same case, only difference is I underdesk mounted it using this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KXD9C54/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's just to clear up more space on the desk TBH.
Also I'm part of the "no need for mousepad" camp. Some folks heavily prefer it but I was never a huge fan.
What's that little dongle thing to the right of your monitor base? Is that for your mouse USB receiver?
Hey - I have the same alienware PC with an uplift desk. I use the following underdesk desk mount that works great for me. - I agree I had to buy an extra long display port cable for the far monitor. I like it alot.
I went with this one. It's like the vivo one, but is on a sliding track and has 360 degree swivel. I haven't mounted it yet, but it's built pretty well.
Says it's unavailable, but it's the Mount-It Heavy Duty Under Desk mount.

I have a huge desk but moving the pc under it was so awesome. But I've had a nice pc for 20+ years,I can understand wanting to see what you built!
Get an under desk mount. Something like this might work?

Drill some holes and send two bike locks through in two places so it goes through the case and around the mounting bars. I like kryptonite bike locks but probably just buy cheaper ones for your purposes as anybody who takes a look at it is most likely not going to want to spend time fiddling around.

I got it on amazon
perhaps it's this Mount-It one? https://www.amazon.com/Mount-Computer-Adjustable-Sliding-Capacity/dp/B07KXD9C54/
Nice, thank you. I just ordered a 30x80 HPL from u/ILikePutz. Already bought most of my cable management stuff, too. My under-desk mount is supposed to get delivered today, too (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KXD9C54). Was just curious as to what others were using, thanks again.
This one, stellar product
When I finally get a sit-stand desk, I'm going to be using this under-desk mount: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KXD9C54/
My tower is 22" tall x 9.5" wide (depth doesn't matter for the holder, but my case is a Corsair Obsidian 750D Airflow edition). It also weighs around 55lbs/30kg.
Thank you for the help, i managed to find something that should work fine.
