Saw it on here somewhere they used something like this
Attached it to a piece of wood and then secured the wood to the cabinet.
Alternatively you could just get a piece of wood and make holes and mount the monitor directly to the wood then secure the wood to the cabinet, I think they went with a wall mount because less measuring involved.

If necessary get a short piece of profile to mount to the side of your upright that extends higher so you can place it above the bottom of your monitor.
It's a wall mount type thing on the desk bar. You'll need something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KZP1BUI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ES0GP6N89687QX87TWWG
I'm looking for some advice on wall mounting.
I want to mount two 27" monitors with a low profile wall mount. Just some basic left to right tilt so they aren't flat.

I like the look of this wall mount
https://smile.amazon.com/Mount-Computer-Monitors-Compatible-Low-Profile/dp/B00KZP1BUI
But if I need to mount it into a stud, then the mount not be in the right place and it will be hard to put two side by side.

So I was thinking my TV is on a rail, and then the hooks are installed on the TV.
Kind of like this one
https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Bracket-Profile-600x400mm-Loading/dp/B09LS3QWVJ

So I would like a rail that can be mounted onto the studs to hold both monitors, and then have a hook mount on the monitors that can rest on the rails. This would let me slide them back and forth, but the mount should let me tilt them inwards a bit.

The closest I can find on amazon looks like this, but seems like overkill

I got some wall mounts for my monitors not knowing how I would like it, but it was a big improvement for my setup. Makes it feel so much cleaner, adds some more desk space, and they were pretty cheap.

Bahaha so I did. Here’s the real link.
Yeah the wall mount is this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KZP1BUI
The usb hub is this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GSLMTQ8
Seems to be discontinued unfortunately but there's similar ones out there.
Super cheap one (main monitor) https://www.amazon.com/Mount-Computer-Monitors-Compatible-Low-Profile/dp/B00KZP1BUI/ref=sxin_20_ac_m_mf_rf?ac_md=2-1-MjUgdG8gMjkgaW4u-ac_m_mf_rf_rf&cv_ct_cx=monitor+wall+mount&dchild=1&keywords=monitor+wall+mount&pd_rd_i=B00KZP1BUI...
A little bit more expensive (I have one that looks like the cheaper one and works like the cheaper one 😅):
I use a monitor arm I got a few years back. You can find a 1:1 monitor arm on amazon under 30 dollars with shipping. I'll paste a link:
A little bit more expensive (I have one that looks like the cheaper one and works like the cheaper one 😅):
Uplift desk V2 frame only 27.5" Commercial C frame, Scrap plywood top 30x42". In hindsight I'd probably go thicker on the tabletop with a butcher block counter or something. Plywood is the weak point.

VESA mount from amazon
Bunch of m8 fasteners, you will need ~30x "40 series" T nuts+M8x1.25 hex cap 8.8 bolts, 10x T studs and nuts. misc washers, etc. I have a cabinet of misc, so not sure what length I used everywhere.
I also got adjustable handle m8 bolts for the elbows since they want to tighten/loosen themselves (also strategic loctite)
Zip ties and cable sleeving to clean things up
If you don't plan on ever getting a sit/stand desk I think a wall mount is the way to go. you just need to make sure you install it correctly as you don't want it falling off and breaking your monitor.
Running dual monitors on a wall mount is okay, if you don't plan on upgrading past their limitations. Like the Amazon dual one that i saw briefly on a quick search is dual 27's or smaller and up to 14.3 lbs per monitor. thats not the wall mount limitation, that's the arm being able to hold it up.
I would probably go 2 separate mounts personally, my main monitor i wouldn't need to pull away from the wall so getting that snug would be ideal, and just a minor amount of tilt probably. the 2nd i'd want to pull out and angle so i had a good viewing angle from where i'd sit.
so main monior i'd use somehing similar to this mount and the secondary i'd use something like this so be able to pull away from the wall and angle.
There is many more options than the 2 i've linked, but that setup I would believe is pretty good. Just make sure you get them installed by someone who knows what they're doing, obviously screwing them directly into a stud is ideal but if you don't have a stud directly where your desk is positioned on the wall other measures can be taken.
Can you get a couple of these and mount em to the wall? I’m using em with to different monitors, I used a thin board to attach the monitors to and mounted the board to studs, and I think it worked reasonably well. Here’s my current setup, just finished making my desk this weekend. https://i.imgur.com/xtGh0JZ.jpg
I got 3 of these, a steal at 13 bucks: http://www.amazon.com/Mount-MI-2829-Computer-Compatible-Low-Profile/dp/B00KZP1BUI?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage
Looking to wall mount my two monitors. Any recommendations? Want to keep it as inexpensive as possible. I have a 27" BenQ and a 20" old free Dell.
