I too have a Samsung 49 in (g9). I just use this simple thing because I didn't trust any bends or hydraulics with a 30 lb monstrosity. simple stand
Interesting. So, then, turning your head is fine for two monitors, but turning your head at a lesser angle isn't fine for one monitor.
I suppose I can grasp that; it seems a bit pedantic, though. I personally have the monitor desk-mounted on a VESA stand, so it's far enough away that I just shift my eyes. Prior (on the default stand) I had to turn my head slightly.
I had this same conundrum and decided to go with two monitor arms. My worry was asymmetrical weight. I mean a durable arm hopefully wouldn't have a problem but your ultrawide monitor will weigh more with may pull the whole setup to one side over time of the weight isn't balanced.
I went with two single monitor poles for my 34 inch ultrawide and 24 inch regular.
EDIT: I use two of these. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005C24OP8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_z1Payb2S68RBC
Hi /r/BAPC! I have a quick question and want someone to double check for me... would this stand suit my ASUS PG348Q from what I looked at online I think it will be okay, but I just wanted a second opinion.
Thanks!
I don't think you will be able to find a stand that is meant for that specific monitor. If you are talking about the original equipment that comes with it, you may want to try contacting AOC support and see what they can do for you. Include your model number, date of purchase, and other things that they may request and see what they can do. If not there are some cheap single arm desk attachments that would do the trick. Here is one example. It isn't the $5-10 stand that is plastic but for $23 it isn't a bad choice considering it is very sturdy and does what you want it to do plus it has height adjust and swivel.
IMO they should have just spent the ~$40 to get you a monitor mount so you can work comfortably.
Thank you. Can I mount it with this monitor arm?

This one, though it's tilt adjustment can't hold the weight of the monitor. I got lucky and the back bezel rests against the arm, so it sits level without any tilt ability.
I use this for an earlier model.

That makes sense. For some reason I imagined VESA monitor mounts, like the cheap but functional ones I got on Amazon for my monitors.

No problem dude! Here's the link
All of the bases for these monitors are crap and take up too much room. Luckily they're all VESA mountable. I have the Asus and use this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005C24OP8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
there is actually two there.

VIVO Single LCD Monitor Desk Mount Stand Fully Adjustable/Tilt/Articulating for 1 Screen up to 27" (STAND-V001) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_lGq2ybH1FZB8K
the VIVO is for the monitor on the left and the Mount-It! for the main one. The reason for the difference was that the ultrawide I own is weird and has its own tilt function. The VIVO has built in tilt and no matter how much I tightened that part it just buckled under the weight with two hinges right there.

Looks like a standard VESA mount to me.
Not knowing which particular variation, here is a multi-VESA desk mount using a clamp base.
This is the monitor arm I have. They also make versions that extend out.
