This is the stand I am currently using, It works great for me and the center mast is hollow with holes in it to run cables through so cable management is pretty easy.
I in fact run a triple monitor rig as my main workstation and sim rig. I use a monitor arm from Amazon that is clamped to the my desk. I leave my pedals in place all the time (they are regular T3PA's that I invert by letting them rest between the wall and the eye bolts of the monitor arm clamp) and then clamp my T300 in place when I race. I use a regular desk chair, on which I put a backpack to tilt the seating position back. I will likely be purchasing a SHH shifter soon, and permanently mounting it to my chair.
If you're interested I can post pictures of my setup.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that using the rig as a PC works well for me. I use the extra monitors often for work, and of course they improve the sim experience greatly.
This is the one I use.
Mount-It! MI-753 Triple Screen LCD Computer Monitor Desk Mount Stand Arm for 19, 2... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BDT072S/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_i_UWfgBbVJD3ANR
Plenty of articulation to make the monitors line up perfectly. Any desk mount is going to take up a lot of real estate on a desk. Your typical big box store computer desk won't have room for anything else but the monitors.
My only complaint was the cable management for the pole has them coming out the top, and my monitors are shorter than the pole. Didn't see another way to route them though. I wound up securing the cables to the pole on the outside with Velcro ties, then their clips on the arms work great.
There are a few monitor mounts on Amazon that may help. I currently use a dual mount, next to my iMac and they move/rotate/tilt in several angles. Something such as this is what I have, although I only use the Dual Monitors.
He's using a triple monitor desk mount.
Happy to help! I'm using this stand as well as a single-monitor wall-mount I had.
The stand is great, especially for the $30 I paid, but doesn't have individual height adjustment, so keep that in mind. However, each of them articulate and rotate really nicely.
This is the one I bought.
My only issue with it is the side displays sit about 1/4" lower, which makes gaming with NVIDIA Surround a bit annoying. Other than that, it's pretty nice. It mounts to the of the desk, freeing up even more space right under the displays.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post links, but here it is on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BDT072S/ref=pe_54430_113143830_em_1p_1_ti
It's a pretty decent mount, doesn't sway too much. I currently have 2 20" and a 19" on it. Seems to hold it just fine.
you could use a mount takes up verry little desk space actually frees up the space under the monitors and lets them hang off the end of the desk
this is the one i use there are definitely better ones out there, this one sags ever so slightly with big monitors but they are still definitely very secure i got it on sale from amazon for $40
I have a tri monitor mount specifically, this one.
I like the mount but the 2 on each side sag, and I have never been able to make them even. I will very soon either get 3 single mounts, or a double and a single for one of the sides. Its sturdy and holds the weight, I just cannot stand how uneven the monitors are.
I'm sorry to say but I dont know if you'll be able to support the weight with the amount of material in your sketchup.
I got this 2 years ago and it's perfect for what I need. Height is adjustable. Each monitor and be individually rotated as you wish.

Yes please do not use stands with glass unless you are very very careful.
Anyways, I have the two mount version of this and it is awesome. Nice and sturdy and well built. Here is the link.
Here is mine. http://www.amazon.com/Mount--Articulating-Computer-Monitors-MI-753/dp/B00BDT072S/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1420557500&sr=1-2&keywords=mount+it+triple+monitor. I might be able to adjust middle one down, but I haven't looked into it yet. Thanks for the kind words though! I love the triple set up.
This one is the one I got. It's really sturdy. I looked around a lot and bought the cheapest one, tbh. It's quite strong and I have 3 23" monitors on it now.
Amazing job! I really like the mounts. However, I can get this one for less than $60. It would take me months to build one.
Are you in metalwork, or is this just a hobby?
Also, how do you convince your wife to let you buy tons of tools?
I just used this generic one from amazon. It gets pretty good reviews, but I had to modify it slightly because the AOC monitors aren’t vista compatible.
Here’s a link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BDT072S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ktrDBbKW87W76
i got a 3 monitor stand that clamps to desk and it makes huge difference:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BDT072S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I think part of the problem is the size and design of the top clamping surface. Compare this cheap one on Amazon to the opposite end of the spectrum, a Humanscale M/Flex mount. The latter is a bit overdesigned as it can handle up to six screens, but it's a great product and used ones can be had on eBay dirt cheap. I've bought a couple of them from ebay myself. You can also buy parts individually from Humanscale if you score an auction that's missing something.
After some quick google searching, this is what I found:
assuming that this is your monitor: http://www.samsung.com/za/consumer/it/monitor/led-monitor/LS24D390HL/XA/
it seems your monitors are 23.6" and (as far as I can tell) about 11 lbs each, times three that'd be 33 lbs.
This triple monitor stand from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Mount-MI-753-Computer-Monitors-Compatible/dp/B00BDT072S?th=1&psc=1
(according to the tech specs) is rated at a max of 66 lbs, and is made for up to 24" monitors, and has a 4.2 out of 5 star rating with 742 reviews.
Im not sure if you have any other preferences, but as far as I can tell this one should work. Although, I would at lease also read through some reviews before making any purchases.
Maybe get a multi-monitor mount instead!
This will save desk space and eliminate your need for a bigger desk.
I'm gonna triple mount 3 Asus VG248QE monitors (24" screen, each 22.5"wide), and I'm unsure about what mounts I should use. I was eyeing this triple monitor mount, but I don't know if it will perfectly fit my monitors or allow me to curve them inward enough. This is a big deal for me since I want to have three monitors and my tower (9" wide) on my desk (72"), and curving the outer two monitors will make everything fit with ease. That being said, I was also thinking about getting 3 of these single monitor mounts which seem to be cheaper. The only cons I can think of with this is that initial set up will be a drag and the cable management will be less appealing. I assume this method would allow for more freedom with a single monitor, so I'll be able to save more space on my desk and rotate monitors with ease. I'm sorta leaning towards the latter option, but I could really use a second opinion- Should I get the 3x mount or 3 1x mounts? Is there a recommended alternative anyone can vouch for that won't kill my wallet?
using this one, highly recommend it: https://www.amazon.com/Mount-It-Articulating-Computer-Monitor-Monitors/dp/B00BDT072S/ref=pd_sim_229_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0V6V5RZ9SZY0Y21FXGFX
This as well as an old single-monitor wall-mount I had laying around for the top one.
Those look nice and decent price.
The cheapest triple I ever found was this one: http://www.amazon.ca/Mount--Articulating-Computer-Monitors-MI-753/dp/B00BDT072S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453227709&sr=8-1&keywords=triple+monitor+stand
Triple Monitor version is here for $59.99, the reviews for it seem bad.
Non-mobile: Here is a link to it.
^That's ^why ^I'm ^here, ^I ^don't ^judge ^you. ^PM ^/u/xl0 ^if ^I'm ^causing ^any ^trouble. ^WUT?
Arm is okay, droops though on each side.
Desk is pretty great:
Yeah you should have room. You'll probably end up sacrificing some workspace.
Here's what I got away with in my Daniels Hall dorm room to give you a rough idea of space. That's a 24" monitor on a monitor arm-mount. If you're just using regular stands for your monitors, I highly recommend buying a triple-monitor mount or something like that to give you more real estate on your desk.
Going by your specifications, I doubt you’ll need to spend anywhere near 4k, especially if you only need some 1080p panels.
Unless this is just a personal project and you don’t mind blowing hours upon hours on setting everything up, you’re going about this the wrong way. It’ll be 100x times easier using Windows as your host and just running a single Linux VM (No hardware passthrough and minimal gaming performance impact).
That’s my 2 cents.
Since you have access to a Microcenter, you can get an i7 5820k and a m-ATX EVGA Micro 2 for very cheap.
Parts:
i7 5820k - 6 core / 12 thread cpu that overclocks very well. It might be a bit overkill for your needs, but you'll be able to dedicate 2 cores to your VM while leaving 4 for gaming.
X61 Kraken - A good 280mm AIO. Note the X62 just got released. It's a lot nicer, but performance is pretty much the same.
EVGA Micro 2 - Went with a m-ATX motherboard so you could get a smaller case. It still comes with a decent amount of features.
32gb 3000mhz ddr4 - Some low profile dimms that match the color scheme,
1tb ssd to hold your host and VM and a 2tb hdd for your games.
GTX 1070 - A bit overkill for a single 1080p 60hz panel (not sure if you wanted to game on all 3 of them).
Fractal Node 804 - A good quality case that's 'small' while being able to hold everything and it has 5 expansion slots (rare for a m-atx case).
EVGA 650W G2 - High quality power supply that's fully modular
For your monitors, i went with 3 1080p IPS panels with small bezels and a 29" 1080p ultrawide to sit on top of them (All VESA compatible). A triple monitor mount for the 3 24" panel and a single mount for the 29" panel makes the most sense to me, but I'll leave that up to you. Here's my suggestion: Triple desk mount and single wall mount.
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
No way to find out unless someone here happens to have one and is willing to measure things for you. You could always order one and return it if it won't work for you. At $300 I personally wouldn't be willing to chance the hassle of getting refunded in the event that it won't hold your displays.
Honestly that thing seems crazy expensive for something that maxes out at 3x21". I would recommend this guy as long as you've got a desk suitable for clamping. Takes up a lot less space, is a lot more adjustable, will hold three monitors up to 24" according to the spec, and it is five times less expensive. I have the dual version myself, as do a few of my coworkers and it's really great build quality despite the absurdly low price. They underestimate sizes a little bit as well. If you're willing to sacrifice a little bit of adjustability my dual version will hold up to 2x27" as long as they're on the lightweight side. Grab a nice long 2x4 to put in the clamp if you don't want to wreck your desk with a lot of weight though. Plus it's just simple steel tubes for the most part. Very, very moddable if you've got the tools or any halfway acceptable machine shop nearby.
Just my opinion, but for $300 I want a an actual mount, not a stand that takes up a shitload of desk space and doesn't let me move monitors around independently of one another.
