I got this monitor stand a while back while visiting Taiwan. I don't think this exact monitor stand is sold here in the US...
This seems to be the closest I could find on Amazon.
I don't recall the brand (or model), but I got this specific mount a while back while visiting Taiwan.
The closest one I could find on Amazon seems to be this one.
I run triple monitors too. Had to turn it off because it stutters in Odyssey combat. Put me off the expansion for 3 months. I went back to one monitor to play on and land combat smoothed out. Sure this is mostly due to my card though. Built a new comp at the beginning of all this, but card prices went insane before I could get one.Have to use my old 970.
If your monitors are VESA mounting plates, you can get a triple stack monitor stand to free up space on your desk for about $50
I got it and love it. They also sell the ones that mount to your desk, either drill through or clamp style. I have the free standing and love it.
I don't see it on your setup, but you might try out TrackIR. It works great with a setup like this. You move your head to look at the bazel of your primary monitor, your outside monitor will basically be looking behind you. IMO it adds a whole new level to the emersion of it.
Another cool add you might look at are Cougar MFDs. They look like cockpit MFDs but the 'screen' in the middle is just paper and you can get them for less than $100. The buttons on the edge are seen as joystick buttons. Basically it extends your joystick buttons to 56 additional buttons. I made a little box to attach mine onto so they sit under my monitor hiding the central pole of the monitor stand. As an example, I have one mapped to landing gear, so when flying, I reach up to my MFD, press the button labeled LANDING GEAR, and the gear comes out. I mapped Engine, Weapons, Systems, and Balance across 4 top ones. Just reach up, press the desired button to configure power. Same buttons work in the SRV too.
Long post, sorry.
To sum it up, if you are looking at making a flight sim type feel to it, I would first recommend the trackIR, then the cougar MFDs. I think they add a ton of benefit to the game.
You could get a 3-monitor stand like this one, though if you went this route I'd maybe consider getting some sticky adhesive to put on the bottom of the stand to prevent it from moving around since you're using a height adjustable desk.
Yeah, I was worried about that too. The monitor stand I'm using is just the cheapest one I found on Amazon, and the footprint of the base is wide enough that it distributes the weight adequately I think. Also in my case I was able to put the stand on top of my receiver for even more stability/weight distribution. Max load for the desk is 100lbs and I think I'm pushing 80, and it's still holding up well.
Here's the stand I used: Mount It! Triple Monitor Stand
If you're laying them out side by side horizontally, a stand might be too top heavy, or the base might have to be pretty large and eat up a lot of deskspace. Unless you're looking to do vertical, a separate mount might not be necessary.
If your desk has a grommet, those can be used for mounting also. The Humanscale m/flex mentioned below is bad ass. I just use a cheapo vivo mount at home.
Hello everyone, this may be a stupid question but I've been trying for the last 30 minutes to figure out how I can use a monitor mount on this particular model of dell.
Edit: this is the mount I'm looking to buy.

Yea, I'm gonna get a triple-monitor stand since I'd like one either above me or to my side. I'd love to do it, but does it matter that the monitors are attached to a base? I'm just wondering if that would be an issue as they're all individual ones.
Here's the mount I was talking about:
Thanks for responding!
You can make one with a desk, a chair, a steering wheel and screens for pretty cheap with one of these from amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Mount-Freestanding-Compatible-MI-2789-Horizontal/dp/B01HSJX1FG
If you are modest about it you can get some 22 inch screens used for pretty cheap.

A three screen setup works great on gran turismo 4 on ps2

3 ps2s and 3 games required on network setup.
This stand will hold 3 and has great reviews from over 1000 ppl on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HSJX1FG
I am, just this basic one from Amazon. To get the vertical monitor to line up right without a gap you need to angle one arm weirdly, but it works. You just need some space behind the mount.
Are we talking about monitors? Depends on the size and how many. I have 3 monitors, they're 24" not going on the wall, they're on a stand that supports 3. :)
I use this one and I have 2 horizontal and 1 vertical for programming and essays.
these are all 24in, and I got the mount of off Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HSJX1FG/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_la7kEbTPXNKVE and thank you very much :)
~~Mount-It! Triple Monitor Stand... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HSJX1FG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share~~
~~I have this one and I'm quite satisfied with it~~
I'm an idiot, my monitors are smaller than what OP said
I have this with the stand removed.
Following these instructions
Page 4 step 1 option B: Gromment Base Install
I used a cheap triple mount from Amazon. It's ok, not the most sturdy but it gets the job done. You can pretty much angle the monitors anyway you want. It's pretty much like this one
