I bought a version of this and it has been great. I would love to have saved 60% but ah well. Even though my desk is thin, the block of wood works well.

The chair was given to me for free by a previous employer. I’m not sure what brand it is, it’s cheap but it gets the job done.

Not OP but I had this same monitor setup with a 34” ultrawide and a 27” monitor vertically and this one worked perfectly, I’m positive it would fit your monitors in this orientation link

I was worried buying one of the less expensive ones. I’d say the only drawback for someone might be that you can’t individually adjust vertical height for each monitor. Really pleased with it though and it feels solid.

Monitors

For the monitors to "float", you need to get a computer monitor mount.

These arms are mounted to the computer desk. There are many brands to choose from and Amazon has a huge selection (link here).

Most computer monitors have holes in the back so these stands can be attached. These are called VESA mounts. If you're doing a dual mount (2 computer monitors) make sure to check that the mounts are sized correctly for the computer monitors.

Desk

A lot of people have provided recommendations and I think they're all good.

• https://www.autonomous.ai/ - great standing desks (you can adjust it to any height you like) and they can be customized to many different colour combinations.
• Ikea has a lot of options that are inexpensive.
• https://www.upliftdesk.com/ - Uplift Desk has a lot more customization options for the desk. If your fiancé prefers wood, this might be the best option. A bonus is that they are standing desks too.

Lights behind computer monitor

If you want that "glow" behind the compute monitors like in your picture, you'll want to search for some Monitor Backlights. Once again, Amazon has a huge selection (link here).

Own the house? Wall Mount the tv above then do a two monitor stand below it? Also get a plastic chairmat designed for berber carpet.

I bought this "exact" one a few weeks back for full price. Weird that it's rated for 17 lbs per arm instead of 22. They're the same damn thing!

Doesn't this apply to many arms? Hell, the $30 one I bought allows for this.
