Honestly would recommend paying $15 extra bucks and get a much much more adjustable stand. I had one of these before and the limitations of where I could put it were always a downside to me.
I bought this one and the build quality is surprisingly really good and the thing is super adjustable.

>I chose the dell because of the better stand
Assuming that it's compatible with your desk, please, please treat yourself to a proper desk mount. I recommend this one. It's $30.

i use three. i have everything landscape; i think portrait is mostly a meme. but i also don't code.
i have one 24" on the left, a 27" directly in front of me, and a 27" to my right.
you are not interested in any of the specific monitor recommendations because they're all expensive gaming monitors that i bought specifically for very high refresh rates which you won't value.
rtings.com does the best monitor reviews on the internet
to keep your desk looking clean, you should get gas spring arms to mount the monitors to. they are also more adjustable. here is a link to one that i can vouch for:
I got a new DisplayPort cable and it works now. Bad DP cable from Best Buy? That's the only thing that changed. Whatever, it's fixed. THANK YOU.
This whole deal is so my new fancy ViewSonic touch screen can be over on the left on long cables and hover over my piano keyboard with one of these.
I'm using a program called PianoMarvel onmy desktop PC that receives input from the piano keyboard via MIDI cable and can tell if you're play the right note and also if your timing on that note is correct.

I have two of these.
One for a 34” LG Ultrawide and 1 for 27” LG 4k
They are well built, easy to install and set up, have wire channels, easily to move.
I think my 34” is like 17lbs
One that has arms and you can pull in and out, a wall mount would be nice but this is what im referring to
Oh, I see.
Kind of, Parsec opens in a window, or you can open it on your phone, but I recommend getting another monitor for your gaming setup anyway.
You can mount a monitor on a desk clampable arm, here's an example.
MOUNTUP Single Monitor Desk Mount - Adjustable Gas Spring Monitor Arm // $25.80 - 40% = $15.48 (AMAZON WAREHOUSE DEAL)
Sorry, I misspelled VESA mount. Here’s a link:

That's right. I just got an idea though. This mount is everything you want and more you just have to figure out how to attach it to the ceiling
I bought these off of amazon. The monitor mount itself is fine, but getting the cable covers off were a pain in the ass and I ended up breaking a few clips. I ordered another one to replace it and when it came in the mail it was a completely different mount with different covers. So I basically said this isn't worth my time and just returned the one I just ordered. The cover is currently being held by 2 zipties.
Once I get around to buying another monitor I will definitely pay the premium for a dual non generic mount.
I bought these and am very impressed. I have 4 of them and they hold my Dell U3014’s (30”) no problem.

In case anyone else has this problem, I am glad to inform that I have found out which mount to buy that will work for most monitors (and it made my setup look AMAZING!)
This one should work for you, has a fairly deep mount and large clamp base. Have had a PG279Q mounted to it for about 6 months with zero issues!
Not entirely sure I understand your intended layout but how I envision I'd do it if I were in that situation...
What is that rack, about 18U? Not going to sit and count it but eyeballing it looks somewhere in that area. Is the top of the rack itself(+ 2-3 inches) a comfortable height for a desk? Might be a big higher than normal, but if it's a good height or you can adjust the height of your chair so everything is comfortable at that height....
I'd make the desk by getting a piece of butcherblock of the appropriate length/width and sitting one side on the top of the rack and the other side put legs on it. If you have little skill, get pre-made legs like hairpin ones of the right length that simply screw on. If you have some skill and tools, make some legs for it.
For the monitor mount, get one the clips to the desktop. Simple and easy. Something along the lines of this: https://www.amazon.com/MOUNTUP-Single-Monitor-Desk-Mount/dp/B07Z7ZGHD5

I bought this and use it with the 25” 240hz 1080p Alienware monitor, works great.
Whichever monitor you are going to fullscreen applications on should be centered at eye-height.
The other two should be side by side.
Ideally each monitor is mounted with a dedicated gas spring arm so that they can be adjusted independently.
I think portrait monitors are stupid. If you code often enough to have a monitor dedicated to that purpose alone then it's perfect but if you're using the portrait monitor to browse the internet it's terrible because you can't fullscreen landscape videos or pictures on it.
Your monitor has a VESA 100mm x 100mm mounting pattern on the back - that's pretty much the standard. So any wall or desk mount that also has that mounting pattern (which is pretty much all of them) should work.
Are you looking for a wall mount, or a desk mount like this? I find desk mounts to be less intrusive (you don't have to find a wall stud to drill into) and give you more flexibility to position the monitor.
Umm... this one
Gonna be honest, I mostly based it off of price. I'm sure you could get a better one if you wanted. But this does work, even with the heavier monitor. Had to crank up the tension a fair bit but seems like I could go even further if I had a bigger monitor.
One second, I’ll link
Definitely supports ultra wide, I put up an ace 34 inch ultra.
This is what I’m using:
Sure, this is what I ended up going with. I will say they’re not the most sturdy mounts but for 30 bucks it’s to be expected. They definitely keep the monitors up and in place but wobble just a little. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z7ZGHD5/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_EADUFbSY99THZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Some options... 1. C-clamp monitor arm mount, something like this 2. Mount it on the wall behind your desk 3. purchase a tall/deep enough desk to recess the monitor below the speaker
no it can squat down or be raised. to clarify, i mean something like this https://www.amazon.com/MOUNTUP-Single-Monitor-Desk-Mount/dp/B07Z7ZGHD5/ref=sr_1_4_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=monitor+arm&qid=1595639630&sr=8-4-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFIWFFHWTA2T0dSUEgmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAyOTM3MDA...
This is legit for $36, not for MSRP of $80. For $80, I can have two of these and have some left over:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z7ZGHD5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I personally prefer two single arms so I can have more freedom of arrangement.
Get a monitor arm.
The middle monitor is actually the iMac itself and has its own stand. The two panels to the right and left of the iMac are mounted using this mount. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z7ZGHD5/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_EADUFbSY99THZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Picked up two of these. Mounted one vertical and it worked out fine, but the one I'm using as my primary in landscape mode only has maybe an inch of space between the bottom bezel and my desk due to the VESA mount being way up toward the top of the monitor.
So if you want to mount this just make sure your monitor arm has a better range of motion than mine. This is the monitor arm I'm using for reference https://www.amzn.com/dp/B07Z7ZGHD5/ They hold up the monitor, but don't raise up enough.
It's not exactly photogenic. Just a simple desk with a swiveling arm monitor mount (like this) hanging over a bed. It's especially nice for watching movies.
If I'm feeling more energetic, I can just swivel the monitor back over the desk. Since the desk is set next to the bed, I can use the bed as an ottoman. The desk also doubles as a nightstand and a place for my headphone amp.
If I were to recreate this setup, I would go for a monitor mount with a longer arm like this. The one I have doesn't quite center in front of me as much as I would like it to.
I used this for my smaller monitor it barely fits my 34 inch luckily , although it works i would recommend a bit bigger one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z7ZGHD5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
find how much that monitor actually weighs and but a a monitor arm like this that can support it. they have ones that can hold 3
They are! Here’s the arms I’m using for each monitor.
I cant find the exact on, but it's one that looks like this: https://www.amazon.com/MOUNTUP-Single-Monitor-Desk-Mount/dp/B07Z7ZGHD5

I have two single MountUp arms from Amazon (I wasn’t sure how I was going to layout my setup so I went with 2 individual ones instead of one dual-arm) and they are much better quality than I was expecting. The tension is adjustable, but out of the box they are basically dialed in, at least for my 24” monitors. They have cable routing built in too, and are very sturdy. Will 100% be using them from now on.

It's actually cheaper right now than when I bought it. Total came to $51 ish. I kind of used it to free up space on my table and makeshift standing desk.
How about MOUNTUP? It is popular with its monitor mounts. This one supports 32'' monitor https://www.amazon.com/MOUNTUP-Single-Monitor-Desk-Mount/dp/B07Z7ZGHD5 The price is lovely.

Thank you kind sir! My mount is nothing special - just this generic old thing. I have been wanting to get one of these though - I now have another 34" from work and would be sick to have these 2 mounted side by side.
