I'm gonna be honest, I'm too lazy to check, but I seriously doubt it.
There are probably Sata->mSata adapters you could get, googling found me this thing pretty quickly on Amazon.
Assuming you can find a M.2 to SATA connector it should work if it's a SATA SSD. There won't be any speed loss. Won't work if it's a NVMe SSD

something like this if it fits
Use a mSATA to SATA adapter. mSATA are a bit bigger so they don't fit in M.2

hdd would be sata.
You could get a sata ssd. Or seems you already have an ssd you could get a 2.5" sata caddy to fit your msata drive.

I tought we could use a mSATA to SATA converter, if I ever need to reuse it on other systems.
Something like this converter.
The adapter would mount to a 2.5" bay. If the case has one, it'll fit. You could also probably dangle it since it's an SSD and doesn't have moving parts.

Maybe this will help out. Should let you use any of the multitude of SSD migration kits available.
This mSATA SSD, an mSATA-to-SATA adapter and tape (yeah I know a bit hobo) so it doesn't go flying around in your case. At $0.33/GB ($0.35/GB when you include the adapter), the Crucial M550 is a great bargain. Should be identical to other versions of the M550. Especially when considering the 2.5" version cost $283.77.
Or you could just get a drive adaptor.
