I’m using a couple gooseneck led lights from Amazon; they work pretty well but can be a little wobbly sometimes due to their overall length. As for the signal booster, it’s a Doepfer A-183-4 Quad Level Shifter, so I can get those 10v gates that the Pulsar likes!

Any single LED light works fine.
But this works well too: Mudder Portable USB Flexible Stick Dimmable Touch Switch LED White Light Lamp for Laptop Computer PC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MIQUJQ4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_3XXwDb59RG5RB
If you think you might want more light, this is a good option, but at high settings it draws more power than I would like.

I use a USB powered flexible gooseneck keyboard/desk light kind of thing that has a touch control for dimming. It's the sort of thing you plug into a laptop to illuminate your desk and keyboard. It was something like $10 on amazon - here it is: https://www.amazon.com/Mudder-Portable-Flexible-Dimmable-Computer/dp/B00MIQUJQ4
They make a ton of different USB lamps like this of varying quantity. It's not a warm light but it does the job.
The upside of using a lamp like this is you can plug it into any USB power source. I have a variety of USB power banks I can use it with, including my bluetooth speaker and basically anything that can output USB power.
Another benefit is that these lights are tiny and lightweight and you're not forced to carry around a large and/or heavy lantern shaped object that's mostly plastic so it can look like a lantern and have a diffuser built into it.
You can also bend the gooseneck to hang it from a branch or guy line, or coil it up to stand it on a table, or even wrap it around your neck as a wearable light.
Then you can spend the rest of your budget on any combination of USB power banks, solar panels or other charging options and mix it up.
However, in practice? I find it's a lot better to have a quality but light weight headlamp for you and everyone you're camping with, especially if it has a red night vision preserving mode and let your eyes get used to seeing in the dark, because once they do adjust most people find that they can see better than they thought in the dark.
I mean you're probably going to have a flashlight or headlamp anyway, so you might as well use them instead of relying on an area lamp that blows out your night vision.
In practice I find I only use an area light like this for a group meal, setting up a camp after dark or playing card games at a table or something.
Another option is battery or USB powered fairy lights. I find that those things are way better for camping than a single lantern because you can distribute soft, warm light over a wider area without blowing out your night vision with a brighter point source. You can wrap them around a rainfly guy line or tree branch, or spread them over a picnic table, stick them in an empty water bottle or jar or all kinds of things.
