I have not used the individual grips like that.
I use a regular pull up bar. pullbar
It's cheap but not as small as what you want.

If you have a doorframe to hang them on I can heartily recommend this style of pull-up bar (idk about that one specifically just clicked on the first one like what I have on Amazon) Bought one earlier this year and have been using it pretty much every day!
