I got this one off Amazon. It’s worked really well so far. The charge lasts a few days and it charges quickly.

As much as I try to avoid giving Amazon money, it was where I found the one I love the most for comfort, battery life, and price. It's this MUSICOZY one that's silk/flat. The ones with the eye socket space felt weird to me personally lol
This is the one I have now: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TPLZY74/
It's lasted me a year so far with no drop in performance and it's pretty comfortable. The previous one I tried had the controls by the side of the head which meant laying down the wrong way pushed them into your head.
Thats why I have hulu. I can't handle commercials or what it is in them. Waking up to unfamiliar sounds or silence is so jarring it makes it nearly impossible to go back to sleep.
The sleep headphones I use are below and I personally recommend them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TPLZY74/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_dl_PQNAWDHH93VDDSJAWAD7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
NTA. They also make make sleep masks with noise-cancelling headphones built in. They're on Amazon for only about $20. https://www.amazon.com/MUSICOZY-Headphones-Bluetooth-Everything-Christmas/dp/B07TPLZY74/ref=sr\_1\_3?crid=18TVEWR5G32UW&keywords=sleep+noise+cancelling+headphones&qid=1646028788&sprefix=sleep+noise+ca%2Caps%2C143&sr=8-3
Yup. Basically it. You can also hang soundproof curtains over your door if logistics allow it. Attach a railing above your door.
I also bought a nightmask with bluetooth speakers.
Instead of listening to noise, I listen to Hachamachama ASMR to sleep.
Bummer, it seems to work on iOS but maybe not on tvOS...
If it just the noise that helps them sleep, I actually use infuse on my phone to listen to random shows all night also, but I wear one of these:

Maybe worth a shot :)
I bought eye masks with headphones. We both swear by them. Wouldn’t want to go to sleep without them now. I like to wear them up on your forehead while doing late night scrolling then switch over to the YouTube “Rain on Window” video for white noise, once you are ready to lower the mask over your eyes.

So this doesn't help now, but I HIGHLY suggest some sort of eye mask or headband with speakers in it.
I use an eye mask that has small, flat speakers in it. I can play YouTube through them and fall asleep without damaging my ears with earphones. You can get a version that's just a headband, too. The speakers are removable so you can wash the mask or band.
There is a brand called Sleep Phones, but I searched amazon for that term and bought the product I have now.
This isn't the same as the one I have, but it's really similar
I have a white noise app on my phone. I use a blackout mask with BT headphones in it called MusiCozy. They're awesome because I'm the only one who hears the white noise so it doesn't bug my wife. I wish the battery lasted longer - it gets me through one night but I have to remember to charge them every day and it's rare I remember.

Bluetooth Wireless Sleeping Eye Mask and the Rain Rain app have completely revolutionized my sleep.
I don't know which one you are, but my wife wanted to watch TV and I needed quiet. Until I found this, now I drift off to the sounds of the rain forest while she passes out to the Office.
I only wish the mask BT had an auto-off after the auto-off for my sounds.
I actually like this option, too. I'm in school to be a therapist and so I'd be curious to pull research on the efficacy of some of these, but my go-to is like the brainwave binaural beats for sleep. You could probably use anything, though.
You can set your phone to automatically shut off after a certain time period if you're concerned about it interfering with deep or REM sleep. If you set your phone face down on your nightstand or the floor next to your bed, it's probably ok to use sound involving the screen.
I know some people (me included) can get anxious with regards to sounds and open space, so if you need something extra or you sleep with a partner who doesn't like noise, I've been recommending these eye masks with headphones built-in. You are by no means obligated to look at these, I'm not getting paid for Amazon links, I just keep a list of sensory stuff for friends who might also be highly sensitive or have trauma disorders. I like to use mine with earplugs and then turn the volume up a little because they become almost completely noise-cancelling at that point. (You can also use earplugs with regular headphones during the day if you need like a nervous-system reset where you're completely void of all sound except for ambient noise.)
But always, do what feels comfortable for you and your sleep needs.
Thank you for reading this egregiously long post, links below.

You doing what works for your circadian rhythm: priceless.
First do not put a time limit on recovery, if you do and your body is not ready your return to work will not end will. Again do not push your body, you have a lot to learn and depends on the surgery, if they have to cut your abdomen during surgery the recovery will be even longer. That being said. Contact manufacturers like Hollister, coloplaste, convatec etc and get free samples, you will be ahead of the game knowing what products you might want to use. As for the hospital get this

Bluetooth headset and sleep mask. Rooms always seem to have to much light when trying to sleep and noisy ( loud room mate) Music to drown out the noise. Good luck
I use a Bluetooth headphone sleep mask and a white noise app. It helps mask the ringing enough to let me fall asleep.
I use these and they're great: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TPLZY74/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_dl_TVZQXCRP6TGX8WMN2031
I have this sleep mask with headphones. It's very comfortable and I get to listen to rain storms or waves crashing on the shore every night. I don't know if it would drown out fireworks but, maybe....
