Addendum: The charging cable it comes with plugs into a standard wall plug and charges overnight. If you want a faster charge (< 2 hours for a full charge), you need a NEMA-14 240 outlet and a 240 cable.

Any with the right plug type should work. I use both the default one and a generic j1772 lvl 2 I bought on Amazon. (MUSTART Level 2 Portable EV... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07THBGGMG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share ) No problems with either, but I only use the lvl 2 when I have to charge faster.
Blows me away that people will pay $650 for a charger because it has Bluetooth and WIFI. I picked this up on amazon for $350 and it works perfectly. I don't want any company being able to shut me off because they decide they can. Or at some point at a "monthly charge" for premium features. This happens all the time. My charger, $350
If it's just for home charging, another option is to get a regular EV charger and add a J1772-to-Tesla adapter.
I'm using this because I also need to charge a Prius Prime, but it's been working great on the Tesla so far. I also get to keep the mobile charger in the car.
My advice is not to hardwire something you'll eventually be replacing.
I've had great results with a portable level 2.
There are several options but the one I bought is MUSTART 40amp. Charges at 9kw, and will fit under the storage bin in the back. My folks and my in laws both have 240v outlets so we can charge if we're there on holiday or just for an afternoon.

I’ve owned the Mustart (MUSTART Level 2 Portable EV Charger (240 Volt, 25ft Cable, 40 Amp), Electric Vehicle Charger Plug-in EV Charging Station with NEMA 14-50P (Update Version) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07THBGGMG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_9GBBGGN5X3TK8G6ESH8W?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) for a month and am thrilled with it. I’ve charged my i3 and my Neighbor’s Tesla and it’s worked flawlessly. It has a display that shows kW usage in real-time and then it stays on the display until used again. In this way you can track your electricity cost.
Never had a problem with our MUSTART charger from amazon. and its on sale right now... https://www.amazon.com/MUSTART-Portable-Charger-Electric-Charging/dp/B07THBGGMG/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2ROC9NU2AUEDX&keywords=mustart&qid=1669648979&sprefix=mustart%2Caps%2C155&sr=8-8&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.08f69ac3-fd3d-4b88-bca2-8997e41410bb&th=1 Double check that its the right NEMA plug for you though.

I bought this one from Amazon, no frills level 2. Works great, 40amp if you buy something different from the volt down the road. $350
This is what we have installed:

I went with a Mustart, very happy with it so far for the price.
I currently lease a BMW i3 which is up in October. I'm hoping the Ioniq 5 is launched soon otherwise I might have to go with the Model Y (have a deposit down) or another EV.
Since I was in the middle of a kitchen remodel, I added a 50A circuit and bought this simple 40A level 2 charger from Amazon:

I manage charging via the i3 or the BMW app. Good luck!
I recommend the 40amp Mustart for the price and portability.
