Hey there, as a new Catholic I found myself in the same position. I came to the faith first through apologetics and got entirely too immersed in it with little to no devotional practice.
I would recommend books like My Daily Bread and Thomas À Kempis’ The Imitation of Christ (available free online).
And of course, the Holy Rosary and the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy are wonderful practices.
The Word Among Us offers free meditations on each day’s Scripture reading, which are short but insightful. I find it very helpful to start my day with the Scripture readings and WAU’s meditation thereon, which always end in a brief prayer.
Above all, pray that the Holy Spirit teach you how to pray. “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit himself asketh for us with unspeakable groanings” (Rom. 8:26).
I hope this helps. God bless!
I found some smaller spiritual guides helpful at that age. My Daily Bread and Imitation of Christ are great ways to do small but important daily reading. Try to attend daily mass if you can; get to know the priest and seek out volunteer opportunities. The best way to feel the love of Christ is to give it away to others.
And don't struggle too much. Relax and float to the top, secure in the love and peace of God.
