i recommend getting her some of the manga- the first two or so volumes. they're not too bad price-wise. they're timeless and if she ends up as a longtime fan of the series, it'll be really nice to have those way in the future to look back on
Sure. We can help you out here:
This is the page for Vol 1 ~10$
They make 3in1s if you want 3 Volumes in 1 book ~15$
Keep in mind that you can very much so likely find it cheaper somewhere else, but I just wanted to directly link you to where you can start. A lot of local bookstores likely have it in stock should you want to just go and pick it up instead.
Manga is Japanese comic books they typically have a clear starting point "Volume 1" in this instance. There are 72 total volumes of Naruto, I don't know how many its sequel "Boruto" has.
I feel like I should mention it to you since I was around your son's age when I got my first volumes of Naruto and lent it to a friend of mine, Naruto has a move that he uses early on called Sexy Technique or "Sexy Jutsu" (He has a few variations of it but I can't find many images of it but that's gist of it, Naked girl shrouded in clouds) and while my parents had no issues with this, even now I don't particularly see anything wrong with it, my friends parents were very upset that I had lent "pornographic" material to their son. I'm also mentioning this to you as you seem unfamiliar with manga and I don't want you to get this for your child and be blindsided that there is what some parents may consider "questionable" to give to children.

Are these 2 totally separate things? Or is volume 1 in each of these the same?
