Yes -- I have this table that lets me get a good typing angle and makes it so my laptop isn't sitting right on top of me. And then a regular lap desk (like this one) if I'm sitting up. Also, a "husband pillow" -- hate the name, but that's what it's called, which makes it comfortable to sit up and has some back support.
I recently pulled my back because I was doing teletherapy from a swiveling round chair without lumbar support. Every 3 years I’ll do something to take out my back and leave me bed ridden for 1-2 weeks. This time I didn’t wait 2 weeks to go to the chiropractor and I got instant relief. My recovery was a lot faster and he has me on a 3x/week for 3 month plan to correct lifelong misalignments in my spine.
Since then I’ve bought a platform to put onto my desk to make it into a standing desk. My chiropractor says sitting is the new smoking so I’ve been doing about half my sessions while standing. I also bought a walking pad to walk while I do work from my counter height dining table with the standing desk. I also got a more ergonomic chair. And lastly I use a stability disc to sit on on top of my chair which I rotate my hips around while sitting. This helps me create motion in my hips/spine while also having better posture.
