I was half expecting being told to leave it alone, it does seem quite complex.
Could you tell me if a DSLR camera mounted on a tripod would do the trick for deep space photos with telescopes etc... I don't want to start off with a camera on a tripod then have to buy a new one since it's not suitable for telescopes. I'm not even sure if any of that makes sense haha.
I just don't want to have to buy two cameras.
Could you also please tell me how I can dip my toes in anstrophotography? where should I begin once I've a better understanding on cameras and telescopes.
One last question.
What would happen if i picked up a 1.25 inch t-ring adapter for my small reflector telescope, and attached a camera body to it. Something like this
