This book was mentioned in another thread:
It is probably the best "hunter" sales book I have read. The quick summary:
Make a list of targeted accounts. Don't say "every medical facility is a target" because then none of the facilities are targets.
Build your "Sales Story" cheat sheet.
Use your "Sales Story" do cold call and email your target accounts.
Keep at it! Be persistent.

I'm not finished with this book, yet, but so far I like what I'm reading. My only complaint is it seems like he's a shill for a few companies, randomly encouraging you to use American Airlines in one of his chapters (among many other companies named specifically).. the content, otherwise, seems pretty solid
Yes, you should pursue a career in sales. And read this book.
However, this job sounds like a scam. Would you be selling/renting condos? Is there a large demand for them?
I suppose it doesn't hurt to try.
